informative book. biggest takeaway for me was that modern industrial style salt is missing a bunch with added. bad stuff. natural salt has the trace minerals we need. filtered ocean water was the first saline I've in world war 2. apparently they replaced a dog's blood with the sea water entirely and the dog was ok. I'm convinced that I need salt to make water work right. too much sugar fights salt. processed salt doesn't fight back.

it's a fun little radio drama. it's not earth shattering. the actors and narrative work well. I'd like them to do the whole saga. this crew could probably make the phone book entertaining. it's like a bunch of ok stuff that comes together to make a very enjoyable meal. I'm just mad there aren't more.

she's got a proper mission. I believe we are instructed to do keto in the Bible. I don't know yet that her theological basis is going to be well explained, but her testimony is compelling and predictable. what's crazy to me is that I have had Matthew 17:20 on business cards and posters for over a decade. I recently started using Matthew 17:21 as a go by in life. I didn't link the two verses. that's how much of a silo it's easy to be in. I've even used Matthew 17:20 in a sermon and Matthew 17:21 in another. until this podcast I hadn't linked the two. oddly she doesn't quote 17:21. even though she chronicles how her father fasted. I believe Jesus instructed the use of keto for optimum health and healing. I wondered why Jesus bothered to kill a fig tree and that cursing removed resources like the rock that produced the water for the Egyptian and that it being cast into the sea while being a demonstration of the power of the tongue wasn't necessarily a good thing. but the power really unlocked by the fasting and prayer missed me. anyway prayer and fasting seems to be a commandment.

this book is called doctor yourself. he draws a lot of conclusions I don't agree with but many I do. he does tell us what works for him and his patients. like a topical memoir. told me a lot of processes and pathways. I definitely agree that we should get all of the knowledge we can and do the best we can for ourselves. I'm eating carnivore now because it works for me. the author is a vegetarian. it works for him. we don't eat sugar. I have learned the hard way to not eat artificial sweets and occasionally have sugar if I really want. avoid processed foods coloring etc. . i am back to taking vitamins and such. his reference studies and anecdotes I believe. I even believe his brand of vegetarian with copious supplements works too. lots of supplements. he's got a lot of stuff I hadn't considered and a lot of approaches we just don't take that simple easy and logical. because we don't have a profit over time agenda we can oftentimes do a better job than a more skilled doctor using time and patience. also, many of the best remedies or rather what the body needs to get whole is cheap. seriously I'm taking vitamin c for allergy season now with b complex zinc etc. cheaper than allergy medicine. I shouldn't have to take as much being low low carb. carbs muck up vitamins. but this dude takes grams of vitamins. I take a bunch of c now and I feel better for now. he talks about wound healing, exercise, mental health nutrition like it's a really interesting thought provoking book I'm not doing exactly what he said about everything because it's my body which is the point of the book. try with intention to stay healthy and if you get sick try to get well. he even talks about wound healing birth control and poop. vitamin c niacin thiamine vitamin e and water. like take all of that until you get flush and poop it out. give your body builder blocks. if nothing else the amounts this dude talks about as normal. like this dude was talking like ounces of vitamins. they're measuring milligrams. he's talking hundred thousand milligram dose like a start on some stuff. it makes sense. more sense than medicine with side effects. he wants not to overdose on a couple of vitamins like artificial oil based A. but other medical compound have far more side effects than too much vitamin. so yeah. I got 7 grams of vitamin c in my tea right now with a couple b complex pills zinc magnesium and I dropped some vitamin e oil on my tongue before I left the house I'm doing time restricted eating from before I read this book but with the vitamins it seems easier anyway I was entertained. I'll probably listen again. and he's a vegetarian and I am eating straight carnivore. we disagree on a lot. and I love this book. I think anyone can learn from and enjoy this book.

Explained what I have experienced with science that tracks scripture.

The narrative of the man's conditions and his progression is uplifting and relatable. The science chapters explain what's happening in the body. I personally experienced a bunch of the stuff. I also failed at a bunch of stuff I wasn't ready for. been better if I'd had the book first but I don't think I'd have appreciated it as much. I learned why a forty day fast wasn't for me yet. I also learned that really even a three day fast or a one day has a process of building the body skills. if you think you're as healthy as a horse and just want to fast better for prayer this book is helpful. if you're an atheist and you want to make your brain and body healthier and ward off dimensia and diabetes this book is for you.

I've read lots of other books outlining the health problems. I've read books that went super preachy about their interpretation of doctrine. While Dr Boz is a Christian woman the book is just on the observable science. It absolutely coincides with scripture but she doesn't add the scripture for you or go into tangents that don't show science. I believe that true Christianity acknowledges that we are wonderfully made and empowered by God already to do what most people pray about and for. I believe the instructions for good health are in scripture. that those instructions can be done by any atheist to achieve good health. Saying the names of God repeatedly wouldn't be informative and would kind of defeat the Christian mission of life and life more abundantly. So this woman definitely honors the word and instructions above the name. Much of the book is, oh so that's why that happens. I've seen that before. Now I know why.

A few years ago I was talking with my pastor about prayer and fasting. He said that when Jesus said This kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting, he said don't expect to fast one time and carry dunamis power. I feel I get it now.

I'm listening to this one again. very informative and important. details match real simple intuition. like an old fashioned church bible study that grows to a life changing for the better tent revival inspirational event.

I don't need to eat sugar. it no longer thrills me. I use it as a stimulant for safety when I don't have time to nap. past that, I'm about done with sugar and carbs. this book explains a lot of the simple why's.

best use of this book. after getting introduced to processes match the money trail. where is the profit in the story from mainstream media. denatured as possible highly stable industrial products are super profitable addictive and dovetail seemlessly into the cycle of diabetes treatment where insulin costs more than anywhere else in the world. sugar in everything. type 3 diabetes etc. addicted to the poison and the poison hindering cognitive ability to recognize the poison.

first off, this is Godzilla not gospel. it's not supposed to be that good. it could be better. there's a lot of human pov like the movie. lots of people scenes. a few characters expanded and some added that were entertaining. I took off an entire star for making Martinez a man. it's slower paced and a bit verbose but the details are pretty much cool. good way to pass the time without needing too much brain power. I really did appreciate them explaining what I viewed in the movie as inexplicably irratic behavior. I was pleased by that.
