Historia
Ashley Perrin is fresh out of college and starting a job as a community liaison for the Third District–the city’s only sector with more alien residents than humans. Ashley’s barely found where the paper clips are kept when she’s beset with constituent complaints–from too much noise at the Annual Lupidian Celebration Parade to a trip-and-fall chicken to a very particular type of alien hornet that threatens the very city itself. And if that’s not terrifying enough, Ashley is next up at the office karaoke night.

Smart, Funny, and Over Too Soon!
Revisado: 02-19-25
This book is an absolute delight! John Scalzi once again delivers a sharp, witty, and thoroughly entertaining adventure that keeps you hooked from start to finish. The humor is spot-on, and the pacing is so smooth that you barely notice how quickly you're flying through the story.
Just when you think you know where things are headed, the plot takes a clever twist that keeps the excitement going. The balance between action, humor, and smart storytelling is perfect. My only complaint? I wish it had lasted longer! If you love Scalzi’s signature style—fast-paced, funny, and full of surprises—this is a must-read.

Historia
Agent Isaac Steele has problems. He spends all his splibs on drink and drugs. He has some deep-seated and very much unresolved issues with his parents. And his robotic partner at Greatest Britain’s Department of Clarification, Dr Timothy Stephens, is ruled more by his heart than his hard drive. But all these issues take a back seat when Isaac stumbles upon a case involving the most sensitive information in the cosmos - a Never File, inaccessible to all except those with the highest clearance. He is expressly forbidden to involve himself. So naturally he does.

Wow! What a Lucky Find!
Revisado: 02-19-25
I feel so lucky to have come across Isaac Steele and the Forever Man! This book is a wild, witty, and brilliantly crafted adventure that kept me hooked from start to finish. It feels like Douglas Adams and Philip K. Dick teamed up, had an absolute blast writing, and delivered a story that is both clever and laugh-out-loud funny.
The humor is razor-sharp, and the plot twists kept me on my toes the entire time. The audiobook experience is just as fantastic, making every scene even more immersive. I didn’t want it to end! Now I’m just left wondering… when’s the next one coming out?

Historia
After Tova Sullivan’s husband died, she began working the night shift at the Sowell Bay Aquarium, mopping floors and tidying up. Keeping busy has always helped her cope, which she’s been doing since her eighteen-year-old son, Erik, mysteriously vanished on a boat in Puget Sound over thirty years ago. Tova becomes acquainted with curmudgeonly Marcellus, a giant Pacific octopus living at the aquarium. Marcellus knows more than anyone can imagine but wouldn’t dream of lifting one of his eight arms for his human captors—until he forms a remarkable friendship with Tova.

Give it a chance! You won’t be sorry

It starts slowly, but from the middle it catches you.
A very good ‘emotional ride’ through this story.

Historia
Romy and her three partners in crime - a sword master, a silversmith, and her thieving brother - have embraced their roles as the Shadow Lord's agents, using their forbidden magic to accomplish tasks his other spies cannot. Now, the Shadow Lord needs them to infiltrate the home of the Mercediaran Ambassador and prevent him from obtaining information that would lead to all-out war with Cantagna's most dangerous enemy. To succeed, they will have to resurrect long-buried secrets, partner with old enemies, and once again rely on the very magics that could get them sentenced to death.
