This book presents some very interesting hypotheticals and thought experiments. It also shares such tidbits as how commercea and business have close ties to spirituality, even based on the etymological origin of specific words. The book reminds you that it is not only OK to make money but that it is a good thing and creates value in and of itself. That's a powerful thing to be reminded of, even if you do already believe that, since it also grants you a license to move forward in providing honest, quality, competitively priced services and goods.

Interesting concepts and ideas for business

This book presents many interesting ideas for the business world and beyond. As I listened to it, I couldn't help but wonder if listening to it only one year earlier would have helped me earn an additional $100,000 or more in a settlement negotiation in which I had participated. The ideas are practical and useful, and the book is written in a way which allows you to compartmentalize and experiment with each particular idea. Each chapter is written around a particular hostage negotiation In which the author participated; this approach kept the ideas and the stories very engaging. I highly recommend the book for anyone in business, but it is also useful for people negotiating in other realms.
