Almost impossible to listen to. Don’t buy this, it’s not worth it. I loved the other books, the narrator ruins this one.

This is a complete waste of time, I suspect that the 5 star reviews are fake, and should be investigated. I bet ChatGPT actually was used to write this, as a “revenue stream”. Beware of this title.
All of the 5 star reviews were done by people who listened for free, AKA: the author wrote the book, made fifty email accounts, sent this book to his fake email accounts, used them to write reviews, and selected a few to be really helpful (put them at top), and hope people like me fall for it without reading real reviews of real people. Very clever, but a waste of time. Audible should crack down on this obvious manipulation.

Good delivery of a very mediocre story

The author clearly never served

First, I really enjoy his other series “Omega Force”, so I would recommend skipping this and going there instead. I served in the Navy for six years, on a warship, during combat, and I find this story hard to sit through. He makes the noncoms look like children, and the officers as the only adults in the room. It is tiring to listen to, and frankly not really worth listening to all. But I did finish the book, and it was underwhelming. A better series would be Expeditionary Force, much more realistic in actual military tendencies. Just pass on this, not really worthwhile.
