Nahuatl words are hard to pronounce. The narrator gets most of them right, but the ones he mispronounces are pretty prominant and distracting. For example Tenochtitlan should be pronounced "Teh-nohch'-tit-lahn;" Quetzalcoatl is not a type of winter "coat" ... the "a" should be pronounced like this: "Ketsahl-koh-ah'-tl. The "x" in "Mexica" is pronounced like "sh," so it should be pronounced "Meh'-shi-kah," not like the "x" in our pronunciation of the modern country "Mexico." The substance is quite good, though, as with all captivating books!

Like a detective looking back across the ages, and with the latest research at his disposal, Dr. Bart Ehrman weaves together a very plausible explanation for this ancient mystery! Every one of Ehrman's books is a gem. To hear a lecture, let alone a series of lectures in his own voice, is priceless! Ehrman is a national, or rather WORLD treasure for his invaluable contributions to Jesus scholarship!
