Wow! Exactly what I didn’t want to hear but needed!!
Revisado: 02-06-24
Many people can give advice, but not everybody can give it from a biblical perspective. I really appreciate the honesty and clear minded thinking throughout the whole process. When you live with someone with an addiction, there are so many things that fill your head! Learning how to continue living without losing yourself during, the season can definitely be a challenge. This book really helped me navigate through a very tough time and also gave me hope. I actually have used some of the suggestions made in the book, and though the situation may not have been changed completely, things have changed for the better, for my own, emotional and mental health! Thank you!!

Did we go back in time?
Revisado: 08-15-23
I love the message that this book is trying to relay but it is so difficult to get past the old audio. I feel like I am listening to him on radio. I have tried multiple times to get through the book but I just can’t do it. Not only is the audio bad. It is so quiet I had to raise it so high, but all I hear is crackling in the background. Why has this not been re-digitalized with all the technology? I was really looking forward to listening to this one but so disappointed.

Historia
Being in a relationship without knowing how to share your feelings and receive your partner’s feelings in useful ways is like jumping into a pool without knowing how to swim. You can flail around all you want, but it’s not going to keep you afloat for very long—you need to be able to move in any direction at will. Like swimming, knowing how to share your feelings and respond to your partner's feelings will move your relationship in the direction you want: toward more intimacy, closeness, connection, and trust.

The Rock…in a book??
Revisado: 11-13-21
When I saw that The Rock had a book on Audible, I HAD TO download it. And I was NOT disappointed! I have even shared this link with my 12 year old son, who also loves The Rock. My hope is that this book will help inspire him and he continues to excel on the field but also that it will light more of a fire for the importance of academics and life itself. I love the life story, thank you Mr Johnson for all that you do and continue to be!
