Historia
The ninth floor. Nine armies, each led by rich and powerful aliens from across the galaxy. Each team has one objective: to capture and hold the castle at the very center of the battlefield. Strategy, alliances, pitched battles, and, of course, betrayal ... It all makes for great fun and even greater television. After all, none of these powerful aliens really die when they’re playing war. Except this time. This time, winner takes all. Those who fall, stay in the ground.

Great
Revisado: 03-20-25
Consistent quality across the whole series. Apparently these reviews is needed a 15 word minimum. Banana.

Historia
Lost at the far side of the sun, two pilots, five space tourists, and one fluffy dog explore a miniature planet steeped in mystery. The planet is small enough to circumnavigate in a few hours. Treetop clouds form in unusual shapes. And what's that rumble each morning? Even their remarkably perceptive pup hasn't figured that one out. Will they be marooned forever? It will take scientific ingenuity and a good sense of humor, but these marginally clever castaways stand a chance.

Wow that was bad.
Revisado: 02-15-25
I’ve never stopped a book halfway through, but I was close. I had to stop and check to see if it was a children’s book or maybe written by children. Storyline was terrible and there was zero comedy. Whoever compared this to Douglas Adams should be ashamed.

Historia
A floating fortress occupied by warrior gnomes. A castle made of sand. A derelict submarine guarded by malfunctioning machines. A haunted crypt surrounded by lethal traps. It was supposed to be easy. One bubble. Four castles. Fifteen days. Capture each one, and the stairwell is unlocked.

Great series I’ve listened to them all multiple times. All the DCC books are awsome.

Time is a resource that has to be managed. On Discworld, the Monks of History store time and pump it from the places where it's wasted — li ke underwater (how much time does a codfish need?) to places that need it —like cities, where there's never enough of time.

Does not disappoint
Revisado: 04-27-23
The cast for this was great the only reason I gave this book four stars for performance was it seemed to be lower volume then most books. At full volume it was easy to hear. I usually listen to books in my shop. I found this book was hard to hear if there was ambient noise.

Historia
What happens when all the myths, legends, and things that go bump in the night come out to the world as real? Well, the world does as it always does: It rejected them. Welcome to Avalantis, Alaska, the world’s first supercity with over 50 million myth and mundane citizens and home of those rejected by society. Although due to pesky things like murder end explosions, there are a few fewer citizens. When the former Greek god Hermes dies, three unusual cops from the Avalantis PD are recruited into a secret organization known as Mortal.

Not very good
Revisado: 01-26-22
Interesting idea with A poor story and worst characters. All around it was uncreative and the attempts a hummer fell short. The story attempt to be knowledgeable on police procedure didn’t even get the basic things right. The narrators were good but I would rather listen to them read the news paper. This book was a struggle to finish.
