Historia
It has been said that everyone knows a cancer survivor, but no one has met an Alzheimer's survivor - until now. In his first two books, Dr. Dale Bredesen outlined the revolutionary treatments that are changing what had previously seemed like the inevitable outcome of cognitive decline and dementia. And in these moving narratives, you can hear directly from the first survivors of Alzheimer’s themselves - their own amazing stories of hope told in their own words.

Historia
When we seek an example of great leaders with unalloyed courage, the person who comes to mind is Winston Churchill: the iconic, visionary war leader immune from the consensus of the day, who stood firmly for his beliefs when everyone doubted him. But how did young Winston become Churchill? What gave him the strength to take on the superior force of Nazi Germany when bombs rained on London and so many others had caved? In this landmark biography of Winston Churchill based on extensive new material, the true genius of the man, statesman, and leader can finally be fully understood.

Absolutely best biography on Churchill!
Revisado: 02-21-23
This was my first audible book, I found it so well written and listening to it brought it even more alive to me. I found myself thinking of Churchill and comparing what is going on in the world currently to examples of how he dealt with a similar situation back in his time. I could not stop listening at some points, as it was so riveting. His brilliance and compelling confidence in his destiny to save his country and liberty is unmatched I think. We are a greater world for his having lived and worked so diligently on our behalf. What an amazing example of never giving up but persisting!!
