Loved this! Not everyone that has collected this knowledge is as good at presenting it.
He has shared some things that you have heard before and a lot that you haven’t. It was done in such an enjoyable manner that I wished it lasted a little longer. Felt uplifted and inspired.
Loved the life experience,& vulnerability of some of the stories that he shared about his own life.

"Mom, Dad, I'm gay." One Facebook message completely changed Becky Mackintosh's life in the blink of an eye. Though she had often wondered about her son Sean when he was young, she had never entertained the possibility that her suspicions could be true. And just like that, battle lines were drawn between siblings, parents, and friends with the church somewhere in the middle. A choice was before the Mackintosh family. Just not the one they were expecting.

TrafficKing uncovers a child sex trafficking case of epic proportions and the longest-running human trafficking case in US legal history - more poignant than the Lewinsky case, Watergate scandal, and Profumo affair combined. Eleven years after the registered level-3 sex offender was arrested, four cases associated with his 2005 criminal investigation remain open. The pedophile was not prosecuted under The Trafficking Victims Protection Act (TVPA), a law enacted in Florida in 2000. In this gripping exposé, Sarnoff finds out why.

She has done her homework! Fascinating
Revisado: 06-20-20
Five stars , for her efforts, passion and sacrifice to bring this information to the public.
My favorite quote was when she spoke of how to live well.
He was deplorable!
I’m sickened that this has become such a huge problem world wide and want to help stop it. She shares so much information not available with out years of study and digging. Fascinating.
Very brave to take this step at this time and write this book with the twisted world we live in . Good for her for getting this information out there so we can all be informed and vigilant.
We owe it to our kids to stop this some how .

Wow ! Super powerful read .
Revisado: 03-02-20
I think this book is amazing ( Maybe because of my age) 50’s . The world has seen so much change. & people aren’t sure what’s safe to stand up for ,& even worse , who they are .
I like his ideas of defining a moral code for yourself.
There is not one page wasted . Great thoughts until the very end .
Thanks for sharing your thoughts in such a powerful positive way . You are right , the uneducated and Unenlightened can’t be making decisions for a population as a whole . A lot of crazy things going on rt now that he dares to address. Good for him! Take a stand & know who you are ! If others challenge you , maybe they could use some healthy introspection too . And you can still take a stand and remain open minded to each persons trials .
Good on him for writing this !

Confusing to follow characters
Revisado: 11-21-19
Although this was well written, I found it confusing the way the author jumped from character to character. May be easier to follow in print , but on audio , the lead in is not so great . .The narrative and narrator are interesting. But too difficult to follow. For me at least.

Historia
From one of the world's foremost intersex activists, a candid, provocative, and eye-opening memoir of gender identity, self-acceptance, and love. My name is Hida Viloria. I was raised as a girl but discovered at a young age that my body looked different. Having endured an often turbulent home life as a kid, there were many times when I felt scared and alone, especially given my attraction to girls. But unlike most people in the first world who are born intersex - I grew up in the body I was born with because my parents did not have my sex characteristics surgically altered at birth.

A must read to understand
Revisado: 08-29-19
Wow! I couldn’t shut it off .. I was CLUELESS to their plights ..ugh !!!
First, I think the Author needs to be thanked for taking time to write & share this very personal gritty story. She did an amazing job of telling her life experience . Im sure very private parts were hard for her to lay bare to the public , but so important to understand her pain & experiences thus far in life, & her fight for understanding their plights. I’m glad she has taken the time to enlighten us with information about herself and others’ struggles . Helping us better understand a situation it seems no one can even agree upon the ‘pc’ way to label discussing .
Now days you can with offend one ‘camp’ or another . ..hard for outsiders to know . So she helps with that too .
She shares the fact that it’s such a delicate situation emotionally for so many people suffering,& how could the rest of us know with out her sharing ? Stories need to be shared to enlighten the public understanding, & stop the hateful rhetoric slinging . I believe good hearted people would try to help stop the pain if they only knew. I’m amazed at the statistics of how many babies are born with this & people that must be struggling.
Her explanation of how scary it was to do some of her talk shows and articles makes you applaud her ultimate bravery . She had a lot in the line emotionally and with family , friends , job , community etc. But good for her for getting it out there & not quitting when she got offended repeatedly. More applause for the fact that she didn’t always have any support system physically or financially, but still kept on going.
Fact is , if you or a loved one doesn’t struggle with any of these significant situations , the power we have to inflict pain upon people who do , is both ridiculous & avoidable .
I praise her for her advocacy and helping bring awareness to the public eye . Maybe harm to future newborns can be avoided by having more information available. I think she has opened a marvelous Pandora’s box the medical community may have wanted to keep closed . You want to believe Dr.’s try to do the right thing . But these babies can grow up to be angry screwed up adults that may have wanted to have their own choices ..
(Think how much $ involved too...& potentially cancer causing hormones...) When you choose for your child , they have no say . What a tough call for these families.
Sharing her journey of self discovery and as a developing,( maybe even unwitting in the beginning) advocate is so amazing to hear & FEEL as you’re hearing her tell her story . Powerful. I love that she chose to read it for us .
Wow , it is so completely intimate and personal and obviously painful for her on so many levels . I can’t believe she had the courage to do all she has done !
Amazing you! Go get them girl ! Keep up the good fight .
I believe it’s a great read & I love the prick at the moral consciousness in its message. It needs to be addressed. All of this Gender confusion going on out there is not so black and white . Not so clear cut as outsiders looking in may think . What pain these people suffer . We all need more enlightenment to understand how to help .
A great read , thanks for writing it Hida!

Historia
In 2009 Clinton Romesha of Red Platoon and the rest of the Black Knight Troop were preparing to shut down Command Outpost Keating, the most remote and inaccessible in a string of bases built by the US military in Nuristan and Kunar in the hope of preventing Taliban insurgents from moving freely back and forth between Afghanistan and Pakistan. Three years after Keating's construction, the army was finally ready to concede what the men on the ground had known immediately: It was simply too isolated and too dangerous to defend.

Revisado: 12-20-18
Amazing touching recount . Told in a very thoughtful articulate manner . Can’t imagine the way it must have felt to be them . I think these must have been incredibly scared , brave and talented young men . ( Feeling vey alone in the world at that snap shot in time .) can’t thank the military enough for their service. Glad he took the time to gather and record this history for those of us wanting to understand it in the future. This author seemed very intent on making sure all got honored . Good for him .

Very touching and inspiring
Revisado: 03-30-16
This is a fabulous, touching, inspiring story. Thanks to him for sharing. If you need a spiritual boost, or are just not sure what you believe, I believe you will find hope and peace from his story. I have read many near death experiences,& find them to be surprisingly similar. It reaffirmed my personal beliefs in an afterlife. I especially love the fact that he changed the perspective of his life afterwards, and chose to lift and give hope to others. I am very touched when people choose to enrich others lives after personal experiences that are traumatic. Im impressed that they almost feel it is their 'calling' in life to pay it forward and inspire with hope. I personally when through a very long discouraging illness with a lot of surgery, pain,& life altering circumstances. I too was frustrated when I couldn't get answers,& people were dismissive to me. Good for him for being so intimate in his Sharing . This has made me feel less angry & frustrated. It's healing to hear of people turning bad experiences into life lessons. I try to pay it forward as well. He reaffirmed to me how important that is to help each other through life's crazy journey! This is a sweet quick listen. It'll brighten your life, no matter what you believe, especially if you are in the throes of any grief or physical struggles. You'll be glad you took the time to listen,& you'll be receiving a lift that you may not realize you even needed.
