Revisado: 01-07-25
I’ve always enjoyed this series, this book was just a lot ! A lot of talk and nothing happened! It was just almost at the end that something happened and it was kind of an afterthought! I only finished it to see if the end was worth it! It wasn’t

Historia
When Venetian detective Commissario Guido Brunetti is called to investigate a presumed suicide in Venice's elite military academy, his inquiries are immediately met with a wall of silence. Dr. Moro seems devastated by his son's death, but is not eager to talk to the police.

No justice
Revisado: 06-20-23
I was trying to give the author the benefit of the doubt! But are we supposed to get used to the bad guys getting away with murder? In almost all her books? Is that her MO? I like the stories up to when I realize wow she’s going to do it again!
Too bad! I still want to believe in justice!

Historia
This holiday trip to Dublin had been very hard on Doyle’s husband - although he was making a monumental effort to disguise this fact - and unless she very much missed her guess, it was all somehow connected to the grisly murder on the station house steps. That, and an African cabdriver who wore a jaunty tam-o’-shanter.
