If you like the movie you will like the book

I don't know why it took me so long to finally get around to listening to this book as I have enjoyed the movies for years. The movie does away with entire characters altogether reassigning critical dialog to other characters Not everyone that survives the movie survives the book you'll just have to read it . Scott brick is one of the best storytellers unaudible I don't know how but he manages to keep my attention when a lot of other narrators seem to lose me at times It seems that he really gets how the story should be told with his pauses inflections and general all around performance . . In my opinion you can't go wrong with this 1A great story with an excellent performance

Didn't live up to its billing

I was really excited to listen to this book because I had just seen the movie based on it the unholy. There are a couple of draft spots more than a couple actually where I found myself not knowing what I was listening to and having to go back I'm not sure If it was the story or the narration .Everything I have read about this author is pretty positive and I am definitely a fan of this genre So I will definitely try one of his other books

Not bad I had seen the movie a couple of times and so when I stumbled across this in the list I decided to give it a whirl It was pretty good I guess good enough that I am probably going to go get Jurassic park now

Not what I expected

I got this book based on an interest in finding out more about the wreck itself and maybe a forensic breakdown down or more detailed breakdown of the events That transpired It seemed to me that there was a lot more emphasis on the politics of the day then there were any kind of technical or scientific analysis of Titanic.. I had to stop it and start it several times because it gets kind of dry in spots... All in all Very informative Just not what I thought I was getting myself into

Not the usual Tom Clancy nail biter

This book was a little harder to get through then I normally have with Tom Clancy . Found myself going back and rewinding a lot didn't a lot because for some reason this book seemed to be easier to space off with That being said it is still better than 90% of what you can listen to on this app

As always Tom Clancy delivers his stories are fantastic the detail is excellent and he always manages to keep it interesting enough that you don't find yourself space and off The narrator that narrated this book has become one of my favorite narrators at audible

For fans of military history and military non fiction this is a great book book the story is good the performance is great The amount of information is outstanding

Not bad If you're interested in the legend

This book should be re recorded with a little more attention to detail as far as how things are pronounced And please for the love of Jesus and all the saints get rid of the terrible accents the accents are almost distracting from the dialog Other than those 2 things the narrator does a pretty decent job And the story is pretty interesting

Has stated before the descriptions of the attacks grew rather monotonous and at 1 point I thought it was hysterical that the author actually mentioned jaws spin off in his jaws spin off In so far as it goes it was a good waste of 8 hours I probably wouldn't listen to it again I definitely would not spend money on it or waste a credit on it

A good story but could have been performed better

I very much in joyed the story being a submariner myself however the entire book sounded as if it was being read over AM radio The voice reproduction was terrible And there was no human like tambor and the recording at all
