Great narrators

This two book series is probably one of the most frustrating books. I have read. I wish I had not wasted my time. The concept was very different, but the series could have been completed in one book. It was so repetitive and the main characters or not likable, especially the female character. The narrators are terrific.

Great author and narration

It’s rare to find a book that has twists and turns and surprise endings. KL is a terrific author and Claire Corbett is one of the best narrators out there. Definitely a fan.

Narration was great

The narration was the best part of this audiobook. The story was very cute. Meghan Quinn is a creative and clever writer. I tend to like all her books, but this one was too long.

Female narrator issues

I don’t mean to be so harsh, but I am not sure why authors use Erin Mallon especially for male voices and accents. Her British accent was terrible. I almost returned the audible but stick with it because of Shane East. I would give Shane five stars because he is always charming and believable with his narrations plus he does a great American accent. I like that cast narrations are becoming popular even if it is just two narrators. You avoid having one gender voice the opposite gender. I enjoy Louise Bay’s books but this one had no spark or chemistry between the characters.

Love the narrators!! The story was fun and everyone would be blessed to have a Ro in their lives.

Bait and switch

First, Aiden Snow is one of my favorite narrators. So when Vi came out with a new book I was thrilled. Although the female narrator was good, Aiden only narrated the last few minutes. The story was good until the ending. Not quite sure what it signified.

Main Characters

The story could have been sliced by a few hours. I hung on because of the narrators. The female character was exhausting. I hate how she was depicted and no one person would tolerate her behavior. It’s victimization to the nth degree.

Too long

Wow. This story really had no plot and it never got better and did not realize it would turn into a foursome relationship. Also, it could have been done in about six hours versus 18. I wish I had given up at hour two, but given the caliber of the male narrators, I thought it may get better. I am surprised they took on this project. I wasn’t a big fan of the female narrator.

Surprise twist

I read a lot of books, and I don’t normally leave reviews. This story was unique in that a majority of the book was not your typical love story and a good part of it was heart wrenching. I held out hoping there was a happy ending, but began to doubt it. What I didn’t expect, was a twist in the story. It is rare for me to be surprised.
