While the story itself could have been more complicated, the narrators really did it justice and it was a very enjoyable listen! I am looking forward to listening to the second book in this series since this one left so many questions unanswered!

Sexy but lacking background

I have literally been on a kick of Whitney G. books lately, and I know all the stories are similar which I hadnt minded until this one. I guess I am more of a slow-burn person and this went down unrealistically quickly, and every thing just worked with no obstacles. I enjoy the push and pull of her stories which is what keeps me coming back but this one lacked that. On the audio side the narrators did an amazing job yet again bringing this story to life, they are the reason I kept listening to this one because their voice chemistry is ridiculous. The book is steamy but it missed the believability that the characters were into each other for real. I wish I would have enjoyed the story more.

You will blush every minute of this audiobook

At this rate I am literally obsessed with Joe Arden and Erin Mallon as narrators on any audiobook no matter what it is. How Whitney G. manages to write such a sexy story and have these narrators bring it to its sexy breathing life is beyond me! It is literally a tradition now to listen to her audiobooks or these narrators as I lay down to sleep at the end of the day. I liked the story, Natalie was a take no-nonse , powerful woman, and Garret was a man who saw that and appreciated that, and well he obviously showed her how much too. I'm thinking this trope of naughty bosses is sticking to me for the time being lol

Get ready for hot moments and banter!

I absolutely loved this audiobook! The way both narrators brought it to life was just exhilarating! The banter had me literally laughing out loud while I listened and God her bestfriend Amy is a gem we all need a friend like that! This book definitely did not dissapoint, if you are looking for a naughty boss fantasy. The story could have been more original but honestly the performance of it all really makes you forget that and make sure you have headphones on unless you plan to explain what you are listening to, because Joe Arden will definitely make you blush!

A twist you didnt expect

I absolutely love that this recording has a full cast for their main characters, different voices, different inflections, it helps to recognize everyone who is in the scene! the story really kept me captivated and wanting to play it everytime I had a free moment, I definitely didnt expect the plot twist and couldn't figure it out. I wish they would have explained a bit more about Nathan and given him less of a cop out ending, also the fact that 13 year olds were behind some events in the book is a little far fetched but overall this audiobook is pretty great !

Steamy listen but no background

The narrators of this book are what kept me going, they feel like they are into each other and desperate for each other. However the love that the claim to feel for each other falls a bit short. There isnt much backstory about how they came to be in each others lives, so it's a bit hard to believe how she forgives him so easily, or how much she loves him because there are barely any facts just bits and pieces mentioned here and there. If you are looking for a steamy listen sure but you definitely wont be staying because of the story.

Hot with just the right amount of love

This story had me on edge from the very beginning. The voices that narrate this story are just perfect. They made you feel the story and the switching points of view made you be in the moment even more. I have literally been laying in bed for the last 2:30 hours with my eyes closed listening to this story. Immersive, loving story, of two people searching for another to love them both physically and emotionally, BDSM and all, showing that love and BDSM are so much more than the media makes it out to be. It's about loving the person, about the aftercare, about the connection with that person and making sure the needs of both people are met. It might not be my cup of tea in real life but it's nice to see a representation of this community in a truly understanding and beautiful light.
