The storyline is weak and doesn’t keep me interested in it. I’ve been struggling to give it a chance but each time I just turn it off. It’s not a good read. Not this one.

I wanted to trade this book because I did not enjoy it at all. The story was slow and the entire thing never excited me to keep reading.

Historia
Raised by a widowed mother, Jill Reed has come a long way from her difficult youth. But while she may not have had money, Jill never doubted she was rich in love. Her mother, Connie, made Jill the center of her world. Now, even though she has a young family of her own, it’s Jill’s turn to care for her ailing mother. When early dementia begins to set in, Connie starts talking about Jill’s “other life.” Jill assumes it’s just rambling confusion. Still, Connie’s stories about Jill’s childhood, and her father’s early death, never quite added up.

I loved listening to this author. Initially I thought the speed was off because of the way the reader read it. I was t a fan of the tone. I felt it was a slower version and would have been better at a quicker pace. The story was great.

The second book was just ok. It didn’t get to the important issues. It left me hanging for the most part. Lot of incomplete areas.

This book was not her best. Lots of and lots of repeats. The storylines didn’t particularly move me one way or the other. The reader of this story’s voice was too French initially. I had too get use to the voice and alliteration in it.
Wouldn’t really recommend this one.

A chubby little girl with blond hair, blue eyes, and ordinary looks, Victoria Dawson has always felt out of place in her family, especially in body conscious Los Angeles. Her parents are disappointed by their daughter’s looks. Later in life, the one thing Victoria knows is that she has to get as far away from home as possible and, after college in Chicago (which her parents disapprove of), she moves to New York City.

This book was very redundant in its text. The author too way too long and many references to the plot of the book. I kept trying to get away from hearing about this dad and mother and the same old comments. I know this book is an old edition, but hope the information gets passed along to this author on redundancy issues that seem to plague her books. Wish I could return it

I didn’t particularly like this book but I stayed with it to make certain. The theme and story were weak and very slow. I got so bored listening to it. Won’t do that again.

This story was weak. Not very entertaining. The person reading it didn’t make it anymore interesting with her voice over. The story lines we’re missing out on significant things like what happened to the older sister’s romance and her life ever after.

This book was terrible. I didn’t like the person narrating. Hos voice was supposed to be country, but it sounded cornet. The story line was tiring in that there was a lot of repetition In words. The storyline just went on and on. I kept wanting to stop listening, but was hoping it would get better. It didn’t. Don’t waste your money.
