My favorite book so far

I listen to a lot of audiobooks through out the year. This one has been my favorite so far. It was very inspirational and i don’t mind that Mr. Trejo read his own book. It added more authenticity to his story and I enjoyed listening to his deep, gruffly voice. To see where his life started and how it ended up and all those people he has helped is truly a blessing. May God continue to bless you Mr. Trejo.

The best so far this year!!!!

Wow. I didn’t want it to end. Excellent, excellent! I loved all the characters and I learned some science along the way. I especially loved the relationship between the two main characters and how they learned to communicate. On top of that you have Ray Porter who did an outstanding job. The best narrator there is. Period.

I never get tired of Bosch. I like his no nonsense approach to solving crimes. Keep them coming Mr. Connelly!

The story was great but the narrator did an outstanding job. He's my top audible narrator and he always brings the story to life. Get this one!!!

So far the best of 2015!!

I normally don’t write reviews but this book hit home on many fronts. I was born in Mexico but raised in the U.S. I love Mexico and visit from time to time but the deterioration of the country saddens me. The corruption and drug problem is slowly destroying the country. The amount of detail in the story - from the language, culture, food, the way the police work, corruption, slang, the gangs, Los Zetas, etc, is astounding. The author absolutely did his research. I have the feeling the author lived in Mexico for a while. The story is brutal and violent. I cringed many times listening to the detailed scenes involving torture and murder. It was hard to listen many times. The character development was great as well. I cared for every character.

The great story aside - the narrator was great! Ray Porter is the best and does an amazing job. Every character's voice and nuances are different. I don't know how he does it but he really brings this story to life. Superb!!

Listen to this book, you will not regret it!

King never disappoints.

What else could I say about King? He's a true master of his craft wielding a great story. I really like this series and will continue to read them again.

My hats off to Will Patton. I've listened to all his King narrations and he is great. I hope he continues to do them all. He really brings the story to life. He has easily become one of my favorite narrators. Can't wait for the next one.

Didn't know a werewolf could make a good spy.

An avid reader my whole life I'm sad to say that I only recently discovered this author. My first book was Swan Song followed by Speaks a Nightbird. I am completely hooked on this author and plan to read more of his books. He is seriously underrated I think.

This plot sounds funny but the story pays off. The characters are all well developed and the action very detailed. A British spy who can turn into a werewolf and kills Nazis? I'm in! This would make a great movie. Guillermo Del Toro has my vote.

Unforgettable and very moving...

It's a book like this that reminds me of why I love Audible so much. The book was well written but what really puts it at the top of my top Audible books of all time was the narration.

If I had just read this book it would not have been the same. The narrator did an OUTSTANDING job. He brought the characters to life and the narration made the story so much more meaningful to me.

No audio book has ever brought tears to my eyes except this one. This book is not to be missed!

Really enjoyable.. Grisham never lets you down.

I've been reading Grisham since the days of "The Firm" and this is one of his best. If you like court room thrillers this is a must to read. Lots of twist and turns that keeps you guessing until the end.

The narrator did a great job as well. His southern accent was a good fit for this story.

Highly recommended!
