small quirk with narrator

really liked the story..Grady does a great job..the narrator's voice is nice....i did choose to speed the playback up to 1.05..but my biggest pet peeve is her pronunciation of certain words...The main character's name is Louise.....but 90 percent of the time the narrator pronounces it LUIS the Spanish man's name..just bothers me and snaps me out of the story...also she pronounced Cambells soup. CAMP bells..what is that?
edit; i enjoyed the story. generally narration is good w a few quirks

ok..finished it.. a terrible story..terrible writing..and I've enjoyed his writing in the past.. an awful resolution..no real ending..hard pass..i would say..i now don't as much blame the narrator ..not scary..not spooky..too long and winding...just no
ok..so.. I'm stopping with 7 HOURS left to go to say that this is pretty bad. it is not scary..not creepy..barely even a mystery so far. I think the combination of the writing and the narrator is the biggest problem. The writing is so stiff..the language used is not even conversational...the author uses so many clunky phrases and words it is distracting and unnatural. You have a narrator that sounds like he is a pre-recorded AI voice....saying things like "I did not feel I should go in there "..instead of what a person might TRULY say....its boxy and honestly boring..ill finish and if something gets better ill update

update...its awful...dont buy this
i guess i would have rather have bought the actual book..but ill never know..
i listen to audiobooks daily..with the cast this performance was advertising i thought..what could go wrong..well..a lot..
the performances are just fine..the story is well..all over the place. disjointed..the audio is inconsistent.
most annoying part is..that at the end of each chapter..they read the entire list of acting and production credits aloud..interrupting the story. totally weird ..i dont know if the original was released as an episodic podcast or something..but its bizarre..ill finish it but..yikes

It's not her age....and you can fix the speed by going up to 1.3 ..but its her delivery. saying lines wrong...wrong inflection...missing the places to emphasize words and then emphasizing the wrong ones...I spent the entire time hearing the mistakes and replaying the way the lines SHOULD have been performed..im halfway thru..ill. gut it out..but whooo..challenging
