Anxiety? Stop Overthinking ,Let's Journal!
Revisado: 11-25-22
I am an overthinker and I have anxiety so I love that this book is like a guide for Journaling it out because it really does help with negative thoughts. To Stop Overthinking and anxiety driven thoughts is difficult to begin with on my own but this book is a good start at noticing when, how and why overthinking starts in the first place. Linda Hill pin points key processes in this book that helped me to recognize and begin alleviating the pattern of over thinking. Journaling is a big help with anxiety, its something i already personally enjoy to calm anxious overthinking which this book walks you through when and how to use a journal to navigate away from harmful negative thought patterns. Hill also gets down to the nitty gritty with scientific info about the brain, and being super honest with oneself no matter what. Really great narration from Vicky David made it easy to follow along and was well paced. Definitely read this book of you overthink, have negative thought patterns, want to stop overthinking, just want helpful Journaling suggestions or are close to an overthinker.

THIS is Self Care! Codependency Recovery!
Revisado: 11-19-22
This was my pick for self care Saturday and it did not dissapoint! Codependency is very real and relatable content for me and Codependency Recovery is something I am personally working on. Reading Linda Hill's books have been like therapy for me, she writes about topics I relate to like ADHD, Codependency Recovery & dealing with Narcissistic types. Codependency Recovery highlights traits of codependent relationships not only romantic, but work, friends, and family relationships. It then provides support and solutions to changing the patterns. Definitely a great read for a push over like myself. Thank you to writer Linda Hill & Alene Sorensen with great narration.

highly recommend for women with ADHD!
Revisado: 10-20-22
This has a wealth of info & tools for women with ADHD! After reading this I feel more confident in my abilities because there are so many good suggestions and ideas here to not just cope but succeed. Much of what I heard here I relate to which was not surprising to me since a close relative of mine has been diagnosed. There is a lot in life I hope to accomplish and sometimes it feels overwhelming but its good to know that the ability to focus isn't cookie cutter and is something I can accomplish. I like that this book goes into detail about career ideas, nutrition, and comorbidities. overall a super useful read I highly recommend for anyone who has, thinks they have, or knows someone who has or might have ADHD. Also i really appreciate learning the differences between ADHD in men/boys & women/girls. Narration was great!

This book addresses the realities of maternal narcissistic victimization.

Don't let anyone control your happiness except you
Revisado: 09-29-22
Thank you Linda Hill, your book is encouraging to listen to because it provides me with more hope and tools for recovery. Hill shines a light on the variety of traits found in the narcissist. She tells us how to cope and move forward. There's a lot of relatable content here so it was a bit of relief listening to examples similar to what ive experienced. It tackles unhealthy narcissistic mothering patterns and the daughters who are victimized by this. It tells about the effects of being the daughter of a narcissistic mother and ways to overcome. This can translate into other types of unhealthy relationships one may experience aswell, so if you're there, you should listen to this. This is very good to read if you are a child of a narcissistic parent, or in a narcissistic partnership professionally or intimately. It teaches ways to create boundaries heal, and progress. I started & finished this in 1 afternoon and am feeling calm, tranquil and able to be happy! Don't let anyone control your happiness!
