There was only one thing wrong with One of Those Flings. I wanted more! What a delicious bite of a story, which felt like a full theatrical experience in my ears. Lauren keeps leading the front on amping up audiobooks. Everything—the story, the cast, the acting, the background—was flawless. I hope to see much more of this swoon-worthy couple.

Absolutely extraordinary

Absolutely extraordinary. The writing and narrating were some of the best I’ve heard. Nearly everything was pronounced correctly, which is a rare unicorn in audiobooks. I had no idea that this was centered around a national event and it was masterfully handled. Well done!

Absolute perfection!

Another extraordinary audiobook by Lauren Blakely. I can’t even decide what I loved the best. The story of Jason and Truly was rich, sweet, hot, funny, and flawless. The cast of audio superstars was stunning, including brilliant performances and awesome songs. The bonus material was worth the price of this audiobook on its own.

I never think a Lauren Blakely audio experience can get any better until I read her next one. I feel like she’s ruined me for anyone else. Absolute perfection!

Good conclusion to the story

I adored the first book of this duet, and was eagerly anticipating the conclusion. This was not as good as expected, the story occasionally veering into the ridiculous. The quality of the writing and the narration were top notch, as expected. I just didn’t vibe with the story as much as I had in the first book.

An all-consuming story

From the first words, it’s clear that this was going to be a story you had to pay attention to. Razor sharp writing and emotional depth that leapt off the pages made it a remarkable read. A young woman finds herself at the crux of three powerful men who, even after death, pull her strings. Her struggle to exert herself is the best kind of redemption.

Erin Mallon did a stupendous job conveying all that richness and giving each of the characters their own personality.

This was classic Skye Warren in the very best way. Highly recommended!

Wonderful story beautifully narrated

I sat in mostly delighted surprise during the entirety of this story. Even knowing that somehow this quirky couple would end up together didn’t make any of it less unexpected. Full of twists and turns, with ample steam and sadness, this story had it all. Considering it was the author’s own story still has my jaw hanging open. It was so very, very good.

A well written story wonderfully narrated

This was a quick, fun read with just enough angst and heat. I loved the unlikely situation the couple found themselves in and the tangles they got into. The narration was absolutely top notch. Lauren Fortgang has such a beautiful voice and did a great job with all the various characters of both genres.
