Not knowing who to save the lead does he best to save everyone. Finding love or binding herself to someone so others can’t steal her magic seems to be the same side of the coin or is it? She risk it all to save her people to learn they have turned on her. Returning to save the one she love but is she too late or will everything end in death. Will be seeking out the next book.

Giving ACOTAR vibes. Female lead is half fae half human, torn between world she has to choice between them. One world she grew up in not accepted, and one she just started to learn about and love. Story is very captivating and makes you want to jump right into the rest of the series. Listen to audible, narrator was a great fit.

I both listen to books and read them, for the most part I save the best for reading it makes things more real for me as I read. This book should have been one that I read. I don’t say this because the performance of the readers because it was amazing but because of how I take in books. I’m not a fan of military style books or films as a personal preference and almost stopped listening when I heard military references but I am so glad I didn’t. Not only will I be finishing this story with the other books but I have also started researching the authors for more of their books!
