Historia
My name is Rex. I am a good dog. Rex is also seven foot tall at the shoulder, bulletproof, bristling with heavy calibre weaponry and his voice resonates with subsonics especially designed to instil fear. With Dragon, Honey and Bees, he's part of a Multiform Assault Pack operating in the lawless anarchy of Campeche, Mexico. A genetically engineered Bioform, he's a deadly weapon in a dirty war. All he wants to be is a Good Dog. And to do that he must do exactly what Master says and Master says he's got to kill a lot of enemies.

Excellent work, as expected

Adrian Tchaikovsky never fails to please, but this was an exceptional story. Hopefully we see it made into a miniseries

Historia
The man on the moon was dead. They called him Charlie. He had big eyes, abundant body hair, and fairly long nostrils. His skeletal body was found clad in a bright red spacesuit, hidden in a rocky grave. They didn’t know who he was, how he got there, or what had killed him. All they knew was that his corpse was 50 thousand years old - and that meant this man had somehow lived long before he ever could have existed.

This one didn’t age well
Revisado: 10-19-22
I read this book about 40 years ago and I liked it so much as a 17 year old kid that I wanted to listen to it in modern times.
Now I listen to all kinds of SCI-FI from the Golden Era to modern times, from Saberhagen to Steampunk so I always try to take my books with a grain of salt.
This book was terrible. Plain and simple. The actual story was implausible and poorly thought out and the performance had as much flavor as cardboard
Don’t waste your time. I might even ask for a refund.

I couldn’t even finish it
Revisado: 08-24-22
Seriously, this novel was not one of my best experiences. As a matter of fact I quit listening to it just over 1/2 way through. I just couldn’t justify spending any more time on it.

On par with Old Man's War
Revisado: 09-17-17
What made the experience of listening to We Are Legion (We Are Bob) the most enjoyable?
The premise of a self replicating replicant "panspermia" was a cut above of the 'hand-waving' magic of interstellar colonization.
Who was your favorite character and why?
GUPPI, the interface was subtly different with each iteration of Bob
Have you listened to any of Ray Porter’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
This is my first, but not my last
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I listen with headphones so you can imagine the reaction of people around me that were subject to my belly laughs without the context
Any additional comments?
I can't wait to start the next one in the series

Crap with a capital C
Revisado: 08-24-16
What would have made Seveneves better?
A better storyline, more suited to intelligent listeners
Has Seveneves turned you off from other books in this genre?
Any other in this series, without a doubt.
Would you be willing to try another one of Mary Robinette Kowal and Will Damron ’s performances?
Sure, it was the storyline, not the performers. This was pure drivel, I hope you didn't pay much for the rights.
If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Seveneves?
All of them, and I would have offered a free audiobook to anyone who bought this crap. Seriously, if I was the editor, I would have been seriously questioning my choice of careers.
Any additional comments?
This book was obviously created for teevee or moovees with an audience of minimal scientific acumen (See: Sheeple). The very idea and premise of the book was absolutely ridiculous. In my opinion, readers should read/listen to Amy Schumer's latest drivel, it is certainly a cut above this crap and that ain't saying' much if you smell what I'm cooking,.. Too bad too. I liked Cryptonomicon and Snow Crash a lot.
