Best book yet?
Revisado: 05-18-23
I’ve been enjoying these books, so much so that I’ve listened to the first two bikes twice but this is my first listening to the third book and I REALLY enjoyed it. I loved how stories of other interesting sailors were mixed in and it’s interesting to see how South Africa has changed having just been there for the first time in 2022. Can’t wait to hear the 4th book!

Erik and Emily skillfully reveal that it is possible to live big on a shoestring budget while giving their family an astonishing education in adventure, creativity, purpose, and grit. Told alternately by Erik and Emily, Seven at Sea is a portrait of a captivating and resilient family and a celebration of the courage it takes to head for something over the horizon.

Excellent book!
Revisado: 07-23-22
What can I say other than it was a great book. Very much enjoyed it from start to end and liked the fact that the trip, and sailing in general, was a chapter in their life, not their whole life. I like many others dream of taking off and sailing the world and taking an “extended vacation” is a nice twist and much more doable for the everyday American than selling everything and trying to live and travel for the foreseeable future.

Horrible for John Grisham book
Revisado: 10-27-21
I REALLY tried to listen to the whole book but it was just bad. I’m a big John Grisham fan but the storyline of this book was VERY weak and “Jerry”, one of the main characters, was the most annoying person in both the written characters personality, but especially the voice to the point I had to give up…

Not as good as the beginning
Revisado: 04-13-21
Not as good as the first two books and, although the narrator isn’t bad, I had gotten accustomed to the voices of the characters narrated in the first two books and the storyline isn’t as good in the last two books either
