The audio is seriously messed up. You can’t hear whole sections but just as you change the volume they start speaking loudly. Especially bad on the male voices. Makes finishing this book difficult

I enjoy autobiographies and nonfiction books but haven’t come across any like this before. David shares anecdotes that both amuse and educate the reader on cultures, histories, and foods outside of the limited scope of a traditional American perspective. David takes you all over the world while incorporating stories of pirates, knights, fishermen, and hunters. After finishing the book, I immediately bought hard copies to send to other family members as this is a boom that can appeal to a wide range of tastes.
