Historia
It’s officially booty o’clock, I’m alone again in my kitchen choking down a slice of terrible chocolate cake…and I’m pretty sure I just got drunk texted by the man I have a ginormous crush on. I’ve been daydreaming about Eliot Hoffman’s dimples for two months, and even though I’m sure this was a mistake on his end, it doesn’t mean it’s not an opportunity on mine. It’s the middle of the night, and I just wanna talk to him. So I text him back.

Best listen in a while!
Revisado: 12-31-23
It took me a couple of chapters to get into, but before I knew it, I was completely hooked on the characters and plot line. I enjoyed this more than I have anything in months! I loved the Easter Eggs and putting the story together before it was revealed. I couldn’t wait to see how the author finished things up! Really really cute.

Historia
When his father is killed by rebel vigilantes, Noah flees with his family to Boston. Intent on avenging his father, Noah becomes a spy for the British and firsthand witness to the power of partisan rumor to distort facts, the hypocrisy of men who demand freedom while enslaving others, and the human connections that bind people together regardless of stated allegiances.

Slow and boring.
Revisado: 12-27-23
This is my third AVI book, and my least favorite. I listened to it as a potential book to read aloud to my 5th grade class while we are studying the Revolutionary War. I was bored for so much of the book that I had a hard time even finishing it. I would never read it to a group of average 5th graders.
I might have enjoyed this book more reading it myself, but as an audiobook it just felt so slow (even dubbed as fast as was still comprehensible), redundant, and lacking in excitement.
I would recommend this only to my very high readers who could fly through the repetitive, overly detailed journal-entry style of writing and really understand and appreciate the journey Noah goes on and the true hero of the story — Jolla.

Historia
This Psych 312 assignment just might send me off the deep end. Determining whether love at first sight really exists with Robbie Moravian as my project partner of all people? He’s the sappiest man alive, so upbeat I could scream, and clearly rooting for happy endings at every turn. How does he not learn from experience considering our own meet-cute last semester almost got us expelled? But we both need to pass this course to graduate. So we’re interviewing five random couples about their meet-cutes and relationships and spending all this time together. Which is certainly...educational.

So cute 🩷

Just the palette cleanser I needed after one too many spicy roms. I liked the storyline and both narrators.

Loved the characters and the spice level!
Revisado: 11-16-22
I’ve seen enough K Drama to really be able to envision these characters. I loved the physical description of the characters and could totally envision them. Also — this is the unicorn of romance books. A book where the characters are having sex without there being any sex scenes? Where language is used sparingly and realistically instead of with a heavy hand? Where do I sign up for more?
