Historia
Patrick Bateman moves among the young and trendy in 1980s Manhattan. Young, handsome, and well educated, Bateman earns his fortune on Wall Street by day while spending his nights in ways we cannot begin to fathom. Expressing his true self through torture and murder, Bateman prefigures an apocalyptic horror that no society could bear to confront.

Historia
Everyone has wanted their favorite book to be real, if only for a moment. Everyone has wished to meet their favorite characters, if only for a day. But be careful in that wish, for even a history laid in ink can be repaid in flesh and blood, and reality is far deadlier than fiction...especially on Addington Isle.

Historia
At first, Logan Ramsay isn’t sure if anything’s different. He just feels a little . . . sharper. Better able to concentrate. Better at multitasking. Reading a bit faster, memorizing better, needing less sleep. But before long, he can’t deny it: Something’s happening to his brain. To his body. He’s starting to see the world, and those around him—even those he loves most—in whole new ways. The truth is, Logan’s genome has been hacked. And there’s a reason he’s been targeted for this upgrade.

Love me some Blake Crouch, but…
Revisado: 12-06-22
This one was kind of a miss for me. Dark Matter is in my top 5 books of all time. Recursion, while not even in my top 10, is still a great story that sucks you in. This one just doesn’t do that. It just fell flat for me. Still worth a listen, just don’t get your hopes up too much.

But, thankfully, money is not a worry. You see, JJ is a contract-killer. Working freelance for a select organisation, he has built a reputation as a discreet, professional cleaner who doesn't cause trouble for employer or 'client' (beyond the obvious).

Love this book!

The narrator is good at everything except American accents. His attempts at them are terrible. Female character voices are not his strong suit either. But overall, the story and characters are awesome.

Get this book if you care about kids!
Revisado: 06-27-22
This book coupled with the documentary of the same name available from the Daily Wire are the two most important additions to media in the year 2022. To have it all laid out for the viewer and reader/listener in such a concise, reasonable, and informative way is great. There are facts that are inescapable and indisputable here that YOU can use to save kids from the cult of the left.

Historia
Miah Gray is a 27-year-old former army soldier living in rural New Hampshire with his sister, mother, and her boyfriend. He is plagued by PTSD, finding solace, but not redemption, with the aid of prescribed cannabis. All he wants to do is get high, relax with a good sandwich, and watch a meteor shower with his neighborhood crush, Jen. When the sun's light is blotted out the following morning and the world is plunged into darkness, Miah finds himself locked down with his family, covering windows with trash bags, lighting candles, and following the arcane rules of an ancient prophecy.

A better make would be “A Simp In Time”
Revisado: 10-02-21
I don’t think there has ever been an author that has hated his own main character this much. Why else would he make him weak, cowardly, and callow? And he is an absolute SIMP! Truly a depiction of a pathetic man. There is a villain in this story, but there is certainly no hero. That being said, this is actually a well done time travel premise with spot on narration. If time travel is your thing and this is a daily deal or a $5 sale, go for it. It’s worth a listen, but don’t waste a credit or pay full price.

Only one thing could make this book better…
Revisado: 08-24-21
If only Mr. King did not have Trump derangement syndrome. It’s a text book case. He can’t go two chapters without mentioning him in some capacity. It’s a little obsessive and it’s massively distracting. Other than that, if you are a fan of King, you’ll be a fan of this book. I just hope that before he writes his next book his condition clears up.
