Historia
M. Savage - or Em, as she is called - has made a bewildering and ominous discovery. She and the other young people she was chosen to lead awoke in strange coffins with no memory of their names or their pasts. They faced an empty, unknown place of twisting tunnels and human bones. With only one another to depend on, they searched for answers and found the truth about their terrifying fate. Confronted by a monstrous enemy, they vowed never to surrender - and, by any means, to survive.

Historia
The debut psychological thriller that will forever change the way you look at other people's lives. Every day the same. Rachel takes the same commuter train every morning and night. Every day she rattles down the track, flashes past a stretch of cozy suburban homes, and stops at the signal that allows her to daily watch the same couple breakfasting on their deck. She’s even started to feel like she knows them. Jess and Jason, she calls them. Their life - as she sees it - is perfect. Not unlike the life she recently lost.

I was hooked slowly and fully
Revisado: 03-27-16
I thought this was not the book it was for my wife, as we have similar, but sometimes unique tastes. But this story really rang true with me, a child of an alcoholic. I understand how false stories can be coerced into eventual truth, and how eventually you have no idea where reality begins and ends.
But Rachel was one who turned the corner on her own addiction, to the point where not only did she start her recovery, but she helped everybody get to the truth behind their lies.
I really enjoyed the performance of the story. She acts like several different people incredibly convincingly, and again, as I said, she sounded like a true addict.
Thanks... I'll suggest this story and strong performance to you, and to continue reading even after you think it seems like you want to put it down for good. Don't!

An extremely entertaining book AND reading performance
Revisado: 07-08-15
I have NEVER read this long of a book (or listened to one), but I had been told by ALL of my family that I HAD to read this series. I'm already 3/4 of the way through, and I'm already thinking of
how much I'm going to MISS the story.
Again, READ IT!.
Also, the reading performance by Gerard Doyle is absolutely fantastic. He brings the story to life!
Thanks for this...

Historia
Eragon and his dragon, Saphira, have just saved the rebel state from destruction by the mighty forces of King Galbatorix, cruel ruler of the Empire. Now Eragon must travel to Ellesmera, land of the elves, for further training in the skills of the Dragon Rider: magic and swordsmanship. Soon he is on the journey of a lifetime, his eyes open to awe-inspiring new places and people, his days filled with fresh adventure. But chaos and betrayal plague him at every turn, and nothing is what it seems.

EXCELLENT story and reading performance
Revisado: 06-05-15
I have been Told by ALL of my great reading family that I should read the Eragon series, and I have NOT been sorry..
I have started reading again after nearly a 20 year pause, and I am experiencing myself and my imagination coming alive again.
Christopher Paolini is an INCREDIBLE author and what thoroughly amazes me is how a young person can pen such a rich tome.
His words make the scene literally come alive in my mind.
This second book in the series was even better and more exciting than the first to me because of the great interplay off the two stories of Eragon and his cousin Rourin. And what a surprise ending!. I can't wait to continue to the next book.
As for Doyle's performance,i don't have the words too express how one person can have so many different voices inside him. Absolutely incredible and enjoyable, and he really makes the story come alive, more than just reading does ...for me, anyway.
Listen to this... You'll be hooked!
