This book was good, narration was awesome by all. the story could have been told with about 3 less hours of filler though. Also they had some graphic animal abuse that I was not prepared for.

Hats to get into

I love this series, author, genre, and especially the narrator but this one was not as enthralling as the others in the series. I just could not get into it. I kept having to go back and relisten because I found myself completely zoning out which is not something I generally do during an audio book. I'll keep listening to the series but this is my least favorite so far.

SSDGM is a must read

I am a fan and follower of the podcast, have been for several years and so I held off on getting the book because I figured it would be a lot like what I get every week when I tune in. I was two chapters in to this audiobook and texting every person in my life that they needed to read/listen to this book
I can't wait until my niece is old enough for me to gift this read to her because every tween girl and boy should listen to this. I'll go a step further and say everyone (.) should listen to this. So glad I decided to purchase. You will not be disappointed.

Disappointed

I love this author, but this is not her best work. The voice actor was so irritating at times, portraying the characters as breathless, helpless, woe is me whiny females, I actually skipped entire chapters to get through it. I'm disappointed I spent money on this one and I've never felt that way before. Maybe with a different portal of the characters I could have gotten into the story but...hard pass for me on this one unfortunately

Interesting story 5/5, awesome sound production 10/5, voice acting was also really good 4/5. I was very excited to listen to each book as they came out and was not disappointed.

Unexpectedly Awesome

I am not at all into basketball and did not expect to enjoy this, I am so glad I gave it a try! The voice acting was phenomenal and kept me engaged and interested. Highly recommend for anyone who enjoys a good audio drama.

You'll be hooked once you get through the first episode. Great voice acting. Great story line. Sound quality was also really awesome. Trust me, if you're into scripted audio or audio drama, this is a must listen.
