Excellent book
Revisado: 04-16-23
This book was so good. I lost my husband a few months ago and this book helped me see things from a new perspective. I bookmarked many spots and made notes on what she said.
I will probably read this again to keep myself on track with the right Christian mindset during my journey as a widow.

Now Tayte has in his possession the beginnings of a new trail - clues his late mentor had started to gather - that might at last lead to his own family.

Historia
A curiously dated child’s suitcase arrives, unannounced and unexplained, in a modern-day Washington suburb. A week later, American genealogist Jefferson Tayte is sitting in an English hotel room, staring at the wrong end of a loaded gun. In his latest journey into the past, Tayte lands in wartime Leicestershire, England. The genealogist had hoped simply to reunite his client with the birth mother she had never met, having no idea she had been adopted.

This was another excellent Jefferson Tayte book. I think I liked it better than the first one. I’m looking forward to continuing the series.

Historia
This is a captivating historical mystery, infused with romance, that links the lives of three women across a century - two deep in the past, one in the present - to the doomed passenger liner, RMS Lusitania.... Her finances are in dire straits, and best-selling author Sarah Blake is struggling to find a big idea for her next book. Desperate, she breaks the one promise she made to her mother and opens an old chest that belonged to her great-grandfather, who died when the RMS Lusitania was sunk by a German U-boat in 1915. What she discovers there could change history.

This was a great story and has left me wanting so much more! It took me a couple chapters to get into it well, but once I did, I couldn’t stop listening to it. The characters were great and the plot line and history were unique and captivating.

Great points to take away
Revisado: 02-01-22
I started this book without reading the description. It was different than I expected and at first I didn’t think I’d like it but I got some really good key points to take away and use in my real life. I’m glad I read it!
