Cute plot but fell flat
Revisado: 09-06-24
Trite internal monologue, unnecessary plot repetition, and completely unlikely ‘ton’ response to scandal. Not worth spending a credit.

Historia
Georgiana Bridgerton isn’t against the idea of marriage. She’d just thought she’d have some say in the matter. But with her reputation hanging by a thread after she’s abducted for her dowry, Georgie is given two options: live out her life as a spinster or marry the rogue who has ruined her life. Enter option number three.... As the fourth son of an earl, Nicholas Rokesby is prepared to chart his own course. But when he discovers that Georgie Bridgerton - his literal girl next door - is facing ruin, he knows what he must do.

Too many fur balls
Revisado: 05-24-23
I love these books and have enjoyed the series. The book starts out slow but well, glossing over the exciting scandal and jumping right in with Nicolas (ok but a missed opportunity). Then it drags on and on in a minutely detailed storyline about cats traveling. It feels like half of this book is recounting something to do with the cats then they’re never heard from again.
I began skipping ahead because if I heard the narrator MREOWR again, I was going to scream.
