5 perfect stars!!! nothing hits better than a new favorite book from your favorite author🙂‍↕️ aleks & mia have my heart, i truly could not put this one down and had the best time following along with one of my new fave love stories. the audio was also FANTASTIC!! i love a duet narration and both narrators/production was perfect this book was literally music to my ears!!

here’s what i love:
🎤 i was instantly hooked from the beginning. childhood friends with unrequited love vibes who plan a fake engagement as a publicity stunt even though they both have real feelings, YES!!
💍 i really loved how we got to see glimpses
of their younger selves and what they were feeling back then
🎤 aleks my baby!! being in his head really hurt at times. you could tell how much pain he was going through but kandi (as always) portrayed all of the emotions perfectly
💍 i loved seeing mia stand up for her music and want to be the best she can be for her fans
🎤 aleks & mia understood each other in a way no one else could. they truly are soulmates through and through
💍 aleks picking out a ring mia would like so it could be a surprise!!
🎤 the effortless banter and natural tension/angst between them!!
💍 the mask night at the bar when they both just had so much fun and enjoyed each others company
🎤 all the hockey boys always have me smiling
💍 aleks speech during the engagement, pls mans is so love
🎤 THE PIANO SCENE!! CAN YOU HEAR ME SCREAMING
💍 i was yelling at these two to confess their feelings the whole book but i actually loved the slow burn and ate up all of the little crumbs we got
🎤 me jumping for joy at the confessions scene
💍 aleks & mia’s dads convo at the end really warmed my heart
🎤 the vibes in this book were just so perfect, literally no notes
💍 the audiobook was so amazing i LOVED the fmc narrator so much they both crushed it but the fmc stood out to me and just loved her production of mia’s character
🎤 loved seeing glimpses of G in this one she’s always so cute
💍 the epilogue omg carter baby i am SO excited for your book it’s going to be perfect!!

definitely a top 5 kandi book for me!! i had the best time binging this one and it’s easily my new favorite in the series. there’s just something so effortless and special about aleks & mia’s relationship🫂🧡

the most unique plot!!

this one shook me!! the beginning was insane, the middle felt really good but lots of angst and the end SO much happened. this was such a crazy wild ending to the duet and i defiantly want to go back to read the first 2 in this series but wow the plot and time traveling aspects are SO unique. it’s hard to wrap my head around the time travel part at times but you have to trust the process and everything will make sense in the end!

i had the BEST time reading this one!! a romance book that involves time travel and wanting and growing into your own person!!

after sarah has a few dreams about needing to help this woman she’s never met she decided to jump back in time to france shortly before the invasion of germany during ww2 to locate marie, the woman in her dreams. once she jumps back she comes face to face with marie as well as her brother henri. while sarah’s in france she goes by Amelie and learns more about the way of life during this time and more about the benefits of her time traveling gift.

amelie and henri have insane chemistry and tension that becomes hard to ignore (their banter is perfect). outside of a growing connection with henri, we see amelie learn a lot about herself and where she’s at in her present day life. amelie also works towards helping marie so she can jump back to her present day time and return to normal. things get complicated and things get messy but the love story and plot in this one were so unique and beautifully written. the cliffhanger at the end has me on the edge of my seat and i’m so excited to finish amelie’s story in book 4 (book 2 of amelie’s duet)

i listened to the audio for this one (thank you vpr) & it was phenomenal!! the accents and french pronunciations made me feel like i was back in france and listening to a story being told from someone i know. couldn’t recommend the audiobook enough for this one!!

all the love & found family made me so emotional!!

easily one of my top reads. this book wrecked me in the best (& worst) ways. luna & donnelly are one of my favorite couples in the addicted/calloway/like us world. their love is so so special and the fact that they truly understand one another is everything to me. they make each other feel safe and heard and they are true soulmates🧡

what i loved:
🛸 donnelly’s daily planner
🛸 the fanaticon messages
🛸 lo and donnelly’s relationship🥹
🛸 donnelly willing to do anything to have his shot with luna
🛸 luna being luna - my favorite girl always
🛸 chapter 19 HURT (thinking about it makes me want to cry again)
🛸 the surprise trope that kbr said they’ve never written before — YUP was not expecting that one
🛸 pretty much all of part 2 but mostly the fact the luna & donnelly will always find each other, they’re written in the stars
🛸 moffy & xander - the hale family is everything and you see just how close they are in this one
🛸 the ending!!! it better be who we’re all hoping it is🙊

i don’t want to say too much else because i would hate to spoil everything that goes down in this book but just know this book was absolutely incredible, my favorite of the series so far!

i missed this series and world so much!! getting kyle’s book was such a treat and i really loved how far he’s come from who he was in book one. we love a redemption arc!!!

learning more about kyle’s past and seeing why he may have acted the way he did in college was so eye opening. he truly is a softy at heart and was willing to risk it all to give mads & her son the life they deserved. he had so much love to give and was truly so gentle and respectful of mads and her situation. the tension between these two was everything and i loved that kyle’s feelings for mads never really went away

mads is the definition of strength and resilience. this story is about surviving and fighting and protecting those you love. mads ex-husband is not a good man and she did everything to protect not only herself but her son as well. seeing her speak up for herself by the end of the book was so perfect and made me teary eyed. i was SO proud of her!!

the end of this book moves quickly in terms of things that happen but it honestly made sense for how in love made & kyle are. i’m so happy that kyle found his special person and was so happy to see him happy and give all his love to someone who truly deserved it. no two people deserve to be together more🥹🧡

such a fun read

i listed to the audio for this one and it was perfect! the narrators did such a good job of conveying all the urgency and emotions of the characters!

it’s been a long time since i’ve read a mafia romance! i forgot how fun they are! the first book is filled with banter and anger and enemies to lovers vibes. the arranged marriage in this one was so well done. so many crazy things happen in terms of plot but it kept me so entertained and on the edge of my seat. some characters surprised me

book 2 was so good! i was ready to join the main characters and take part in some of the fights (this one character had me like🤺🤺) kostas and talia are perfect together they have so much chemistry. kostas is hot!! protective, scary, obsessed with his wife. talia has the best attitude and so much confidence.

overall this duet was so fun. i feel like i usually get bored during book 2 of a duet but i actually liked book 2 more than book 1 for this one. they are quick reads and i think i would definitely recommend for someone who’s looking for a change of pace or for someone who’s feeling a bit slumpy.

amazing narration & fun story

this was so fun!! this one has two of my all time fave narrators and they absolutely never disappoint! i really loved the small town vibes of this one. i thought the concept of the biggest country singer wanting to retire and the label sending out someone to convince him otherwise was so fun.

i don’t usually love pop-star books but this one had such a different vibe. kyle was so closed off and adamant about not wanting to resign with his label and wanting to just retire while piper was afraid to lose her job is she couldn’t convince him to resign. i loved getting to see kyle’s life in the small town and learn more about his friends. i think it really highlighted how kyle is just a normal guy vs this huge star everyone else sees him as. he opened up about how he could never tell if someone liked him for him or because he was famous and i think it was done in such a humanizing way that the reader was able to understand exactly what he meant.

piper feels a little lost but also knows she loves music. she was a good balance to kyle while she stayed with him for a little bit. i loved getting to see their relationship develop organically!

this book had the perfect ending for their story too!

spicy enemies to lovers

i had such a fun time listening to this book! both narrators did a fantastic job of really portraying the emotions of aston & knox. the enemies to lovers vibes were perfect. i loved how much knox wanted to stay away but simply could not help himself.

aston was so open to exploring his sexuality while knox was definitely more reserved for very valid reasons. i loved getting to see them grow comfortable with each other and the tension/banter along the way was everything!! this one had a lot of spice and i’m not complaining. knox & katie’s friendship was also so special and i loved that knox was able to find a friend who was in his corner that he felt comfortable opening up too. i think the storyline with knox’s dad was wrapped up perfectly at the end and overall i had a great time reading this one

this book & audio are fantastic!! THE TENSION!! these characters had the best journey of growing together and loving one another. i loved the past and present timelines. i feel like it really allowed us to see the depth of logan & amelia and highlighted how far they’ve come. brothers best friend always hits for me and if you add in a sprinkle of second chance i’m done for!! logan was amazing and i loved getting to see his discovery of self love and amelia was just the steadiness he needed in his life!
