What a beautifully written story! It’s a contemporary take on the pride and prejudices that can cause rifts in even the best of relationships. It really made me examine my own thoughts about sexuality and attraction. It’s hard to go wrong with a T.L. Swan book.

Yes! I am a huge Huss/McClain fan.

Love this writing duo! Huss and McClain deliver clever banter from a cast of characters with great backstories. While at a convention two authors begin to explore personal motivation and discover a true connection. Full of plot twists, this book peeks inside two authors’ lives from ideas to pages to colleague and reader interactions. Expect introspection, intimacy, interference and insanity with a HEA, of course. The narrators really brought this story to life.

Lauren Blakely = Wordsmith

Lauren Blakely writes delicious sentences - witty banter, sweet seduction and an HEA. The narrators are engaging and make the story really come to life. A musician devastated by the breakup of her marriage records an award winning album, fights writer’s block and producer timelines while creating a follow up. The story explores the gradual healing of her broken heart as she learns to love again.

I really enjoy Lauren Blakely’s books. She writes some of the best bantering. Narrators Andi Arndt and Jason Clarke deliver the story flawlessly creating a Tahitian getaway for the listener. The last chapter of this book Is truly special. Jason sings some old school romantic favorites. Wow! I can’t wait to see what’s next. Blakely is truly embracing the audiobook medium making the listening experience unforgettable.

Many Heartstrings Plucked

Wow! I could not stop listening. Great narration, and the story was all consuming. Told in a non-linear timeframe, the author manages to entangle the listener into the storyline with an unexpected HEA.

Beautiful Heart-Wrenching Story

This storyline was woven from three points-of-view, and I thoroughly enjoyed listening to the voices of three superb narrators as Alix’s life unravels. Despite Dylan’s ghostlike tendencies, he was swoon worthy. Through the entire book, I found myself rooting for a Dylan and Alix HEA. Enter Smith, a man just as wonderful as Dylan but just as different. Smith’s troubled youth yet subsequent rise to success shaped him into a caring and understanding man who falls in love with grief stricken Alix. Rose, the quintessential best friend picks Alix off the ground in times of trouble and joins her in celebrating the big moments. This is a book that haunts you long after finishing.
