Solid Read
Revisado: 02-17-23
Definitely not what I was expecting but still a very solid read. There are moments that made every hair on my body stand up but overall it didn’t deliver the impactful ending I had hoped for. Still would recommend this book to read.
As for the performance, Erin Bennet did a very good job at providing life to the characters and feeling to the dialogue.

Page turner
Revisado: 07-10-19
The story is a whole is incredible and there are so many parts that are so chilling and scary without going over the top or trying to hard. My only knock on the book is the performance was pretty monotone at some points. Overall I would highly recommend it.

Excellent and chilling
Revisado: 04-22-19
Ray Porter does a masterful job with this performance. The story is already so good, but his performance makes it that much more chilling. One of the best I’ve seen since coming to audible in the horror genre.

It Was Just Alright For Me
Revisado: 03-06-19
I had high hopes for the book but it just wasn’t what I had hoped. I had heard it was so terrifying that it will give you nightmares, but I don’t think I had to hold my breath once.
The Audio Performer, Bernadette Dunne, possibly is a reasoner fell so flat to me. I just really did not enjoy the performance.

Chilling & Very Entertaining
Revisado: 09-03-18
The book was absolutely absorbing. It takes you in and at times gave me such intense chills and put my jaw in my lap. The story is amazing with twists and turns, that at times will leave you scratching your head, but the payoff is very good, shocking, and heartbreaking.
The performance by Joy Osmanski was pretty good. Some of the voices are creepy but overall it was nothing extraordinary nor was it hard to listen to. I think it was a good job though.

Leonard and Wen talk and play until Leonard abruptly apologizes and tells Wen, “None of what’s going to happen is your fault.”

Good Read But Falls Just Short
Revisado: 08-06-18
This book had a great idea, but I felt that too many questions were left unanswered. I was also not a huge fan of Amy Landon’s performance, it was really flat. I thought the book has a great concept and the imagery is enough to make you feel the things described. My problem is just the unanswered questions and the completely unfinished and open ended ending.

Historia
An 11-year-old boy's violated corpse is found in a town park. Eyewitnesses and fingerprints point unmistakably to one of Flint City's most popular citizens. He is Terry Maitland, Little League coach, English teacher, husband, and father of two girls. Detective Ralph Anderson, whose son Maitland once coached, orders a quick and very public arrest. Maitland has an alibi, but Anderson and the district attorney soon add DNA evidence to go with the fingerprints and witnesses. Their case seems ironclad.

A Crazy Ride
Revisado: 08-06-18
This book was absolutely incredible, and Will Patton does an outstanding job. The story is great, the characters are deep, and I loved every second. The only thing that stops this from getting 5 stars overall, is the climax kind of happens too quickly. Large buildup for a quick payoff. But overall still great.
