Historia
She is omnivorous. No matter age or appearance, physical frailty or imperfection. It is not their flesh that feeds her appetites, but their souls. She devours young and old, men and women. She leaves only a desiccated husk. An unspeakable evil. An impossible gift. Renowned magus Taita is now over 100 years old and has ascended to a new level of wisdom and understanding about his world. But he must prepare himself for the biggest threat Egypt has ever faced: the great plagues and the failure of the Nile, brought about by the fire witch Eos, an ancient force of sheer evil.

Screechy music.
Revisado: 07-12-14
What made the experience of listening to Insomnia the most enjoyable?
The narrator Eli Wallach does a fine job with the voices, you can really tell them apart.
What did you like best about this story?
This Is one of the best horror/sf novels I have enjoyed in some time.
What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?
The story is very Steve Kingie, in other words excellent! I could do without the darn music though. It overpowers the voices often and is quite screechy and weird. Now the story calls for weird, but the music gets loud enough for me to have to turn down my headset while it plays, and up again when it stops. I enjoyed this book, and I would highly recommend it to all Steven King fans, I do hope that this music doesn't persist in the industry though!
