Prince Harry throws his family under the bus while by means of this book he tries to explain to them and the world why he left the Palace. Throughout the story, and even the title, he plays victim rather than overcoming, taking responsibility, or simply not caring about his place in the Royal order. Yeah, I get that being incessantly hounded by paps is no joke, but by writing such a book, he is just as bad as they are. And we are not helping by providing the demand to know the inside story. The editors surely could have given this novice author some more guidance on so many levels. Bravo to attempting to narrate, but his monotone voice was a yawner. Seems like a cheap shot as using his story as a pity party and to earn this $40m book deal just to redeem himself at the expense of his family . And he scoffed at a pap collecting $100k for a photo of him.

Amazing performance, an opus of a book

The reason I gave this five stars is twofold. The narrator does an amazing job of acting out each character so that the story line is easy to follow and keeps the listener engaged.
The second reason is that Henry Roth painted a picture not only of his family and life in details, but also a graphic detail of life in NYC at time (early 1900’s) from a poor Jewish immigrant viewpoint.
Henry Roth is a cousin of mine. His mother was my grandmother’s sister. I feel so many parts of my family history came to light and I keep referring to our family tree to understand the family structure. I learned so many stories I had never known or heard. I am recommending my cousins and family members listen to it as well and I will gift a copy to anyone interested.
I’m only half way through it, and each day I look forward to hearing more.
I recommend it to anyone interested in NYC history, Jewish immigrant life, and especially our cousins in the diaspora. I wish I had met Henry when he was alive.
Bravo to the narration. It’s like the old days of listening to stories on the radio and modern binge-watching.

Never dissapoints

Dolores Cannon never dissapoints. The only thing a little weird is one of the female narrators was playing the part of a male client, but at least she had a low voice.

This book was so captivating, I couldn't stop listening to it, and finished it very quickly over 3 days. Dolores Cannon is gifted in delivering this information. This should be mainstream knowledge.

I did learn about the recommended herbs, but they seem hard to obtain, and time consuming to prepare. The main dissapintment was that a lot of ingredients in the recipes are not recommened for herpes sufferers, as they may trigger an OB, like tahini, and many others.

What an inspiring insight of what it was like to become the first Black first lady. Loved her childhood memories and story telling abilities. Great that Michelle narrated it herself.

Loved hearing Obama narrate this. It's a long 28 hours, but the time paases by easily because it's like he's just talking to you as a friend. Sometimes there are too mamy details, bit I definitely learned a lot about what it's like to be the POTUS. I also loved how he emphasized the importance of his family. His love of family extends out to his love of the USA. You can truly feel it in this book.

Each story held my interest and had a good "take-away" message. I was crying along with the author of the last story.
