Mrs. Obama, with grace and courage drew a clear picture of her life and sharing her journey from a child to adolescent, young adult, college student, lawyer, Mrs. Obama to First Lady of the United States of America. She, In the closing left us a vision of their continual work for change where it's needed in the now and future.
This is an amazingly encouraging book....I purchased one for my daughter as I know it will encourage her on the road she is walking as an African american single mom of 2 enrolled at UCSD's engineering program.
Thank you Mrs. Obama for writing this treasure of a book and allowing us to hear it with you voice...(.I bought the audiobook.)
Thank you for representing in the classy yet down to earth way you did and still do.
Thank you for you going into the trenches where people thought they were forgotten.

This book about Mrs. Fassbender is a fascinating story of a young survivor In many aspects of life and she is alive to tell the story. As she mentioned. In this story she could have been strung out on drugs or other thing trying to found happiness but she Maintains thru bad marriges and heartache, there was and is a purpose for het survival....I wish her all the blessings and peace she desires and needs I het life
