I bought both of the omnibuses, and the first four books were pretty great. Which is why I'm giving this one? Such a disappointing review, because all of the things that she did in the first 5 books Suddenly kind of just disappeared in book six. Then the beginning of book seven, started off to be the same way as book 6 So honestly I turned it off, Maybe a chapter in. Just don't like where the story went.

thoroughly disappointed

I love the Mercy series from the beginning. but as we get further and further along I'm just tired of her whining about Stephan even though all he has ever done is help her, and now the author has decided in this and her alpha and omega series to start chopping out old enjoyable characters. My wife says this is "growth" I say I don't need to read any more.
However I do love the narrator still.

Could the main character be any more whiny?

I loved the authors other series the Heartstrikers. but this series the main character makes every wrong choice, wines about it, and talks like everything is the end of the world. I could even finish reading it. I didn't care what happened to her.

I was into it it was a good story until for no reason what so ever the main character becomes chicken and runs away. It ruined it for me. Didn't even finish listening.
