Historia
All the martial artists wanted was to earn a spot in history. Some blended in the crowd, and some didn’t. Some worked their way to the top and some became nothing but heaps of dust on the ground. Some were born into riches and jewels, and some were born with nothing but a strong mind and a great talent, like Zen Luo. However, when he saw just how unfair the world was, he couldn’t stay put and set out on a journey towards greatness, with only two goals in mind: to witness the world from the very peak of martial arts and to provide a safe future to the people he cared about.

Great book, trash audiobook.
Revisado: 01-26-23
TLDR: Read the book. Don't listen to the audio book. It is so bad it will make you hate this book, author, producer and incompetent narrator.
Review below copied over from book 1 since I didn't want to waste more time on this attempt at an audiobook.
I've read this book series through book 60 on Kindle and loved the story. I was waiting for more books to be on Audible before I picked them up. After picking the first two books on Audible I can now definitively state that this absolute pile of garbage will make you hate a great story. Don't think it will get better, book 2 is worse. The narrator is so bad at pronouncing words that about a quarter of the time you have no idea what he said. I hate to say it, but a straight text to speech program is WAY better than the farce of narration done on this book.
The second book compliments an incompetent narrator with having a 15 second intro and outro to every chapter. It sounds like the book was read for a radio broadcast and they just recorded it.

Historia
Falling from nobility, Zen Luo became a humble slave and served as a human punchbag for his former cousins. Inadvertently, he found a way to refine himself into a weapon and a legend started because of that. With a strong belief in never surrender, he strove for revenges and pursued big dreams. Warriors from various clans contended for hegemony and the world was stirred. Relying on the body that was comparable to a powerful weapon, Zen beat his numerous enemies on his way to the immortality. Would he succeed eventually?

I'm not going to put any spoilers in. However, if you are going through the book and are finding yourself slightly disappointed, finish the book. You will not regret it.

Historia
Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a desperate, last-chance mission - and if he fails, humanity and the Earth itself will perish. Except that right now, he doesn't know that. He can't even remember his own name, let alone the nature of his assignment or how to complete it. All he knows is that he's been asleep for a very, very long time. And he's just been awakened to find himself millions of miles from home, with nothing but two corpses for company.

Another Awesome Book From the Author
Revisado: 06-03-22
If you are a fan of the book The Martian, then I highly recommend picking up this book. It has a lot of the same science and unknown aspects as The Martian, with a futuristic sci-fi twist.
If you haven't read The Martian yet, then I highly recommend picking up that book, followed by this book.

Good, but reader not a gamer.
Revisado: 11-03-19
I recommend the book. I enjoyed it. However, the reader is definitely not a gamer. He mispronounces several gaming terms. The most glaring example is the term PKers. He pronounces it picker. That annoyed me throughout the book. I originally gave the performance 4 stars just for that. I changed it to 5 stars because the reader must have taken feedback and fixed this pronunciation in the next book.

OK
Revisado: 01-22-17
The book starts out slow enough that I almost stopped listening several times. However, once it gets rolling it is fairly enjoyable. That is about all I can say about it. If you have nothing better to do, this book is an OK read.

Best Book I Have Ever Read!
Revisado: 02-11-16
Out of the thousands of books I have read over the years, this by far is the best.
A movie was made off of this book, but the movie was horrible.
I don't want to give anything away about the story, but this book will easily satisfy any reader who enjoys the Sci-Fi genra.

I almost didn't buy the book.
Revisado: 01-14-15
I'm glad I did. Get the book, you won't regret it. The message in the book is a simple one, but just like common sense, it is something the majority of people do not have. I cannot think of anyone that couldn't benefit from listening to this book.
