Revisado: 02-07-25
if this had been the first book I ever read in the Jack Ryan Jr series I would never have read another one. so much too much boring behind the scenes stuff. it kind of sets you up to understand how the campus starts but there wasn't much in it that was fun to listen to. however I like many of the other Jack Ryan Jr books so I won't hold it against them on this one

synopsis sounded good BUT
Revisado: 06-03-24
romance, loving father, sweet daughter, sweet girlfriend. Weak on the building of the arsonist story. it certainly focused a lot on sexual activity including most of one chapter consisting of every detail of their sexual exploits together. The characters were likeable though and it ended as expected . no sad twists.

not his best work
Revisado: 01-22-23
He must have struggled to come up with this story. Usually his stories are so good and full of action and clear. This one was all over the place and was not strong. If this had been the 1st book I ever read by him I would not read enough. Saying that I have loved many of his books and will continue to read his books. Definitely would not recommend this one

Historia
Joe Pike didn't expect to rescue a woman that day. He went to the bank same as anyone goes to the bank, and returned to his Jeep. So when Isabel Roland, the lonely young teller who helped him, steps out of the bank on her way to lunch, Joe is on hand when two men abduct her. Joe chases them down, and the two men are arrested. But instead of putting the drama to rest, the arrests are only the beginning of the trouble for Joe and Izzy.

Revisado: 09-28-22
A very Short story that took way too long to tell. There was way too much of what this person was thinking exactly and with that person and then the other person and then the other person.. And the main character Molly was quite annoying. I just kept reading it because I always need to see what happens at the end of a story.

boring
Revisado: 05-26-21
you would think when you had special ops people involved in a book you would actually have some action in it. very little action in this book. this book was mostly just about the relationship of the main couple and what he thought of her and then what she thought of him and so on. there really wasn't much to it and everything went perfectly. Even in fairy tales you j.g ave some conflict between characters, not just internal. I will be returning this one.

this is the second book I read by this author and I enjoyed it just as much as the first. The characters are so real and so likeable. the plot and figuring out who done it was really well done. I especially love the narrator, her accent. Just so fun to listen to as are some of the Irish phrases like she's on my last nerve and is he browned off at me? so fun. I would highly recommend this book
