great backstory

this is a fantastic companion book for nameless world fans. seeing the birth of a necromancer in the manner that Emily predicted feels right. I wish there was a way to get these to Audible quicker but with any publishing game is all about contracts and negotiations.

Please get these to audible quicker. this a fantastic new stort arc in a well established world. we want to know these characters evey bit as Emily, Alyssa, Jade and the rest.

Yet another Fantastic Tale

Christopher Nuttall has been turning out great stories for at least a decade. This is no expectation. a new slew of characters in a familiar world that makes us enjoy the development of the mundane world. if we could just get these books to audible quicker it could be a game changer. This is a riveting tale I just don't have the down time to read a print book.

I love this town

Molly Harper's imagining of this mystical town is just fantastic. This whole series is laugh out loud funny and very addictive. It may not be classic literature but the story if completely engaging and Amanda Ronconi and Jonathan Davis bring it life. For some fun reading while driving its is perfect.

only one problem

the rest if the series isn't available. Other wise this book as if all. Great performance by both narrators. if you're into paranormal scifi then don't hesitate to dive in. Other than the massive cliffhanger of not having the rest of the series this is a no brainer.

Titus Welliver is getting gyp't

This Book while not the best Harry Bosch novel written is not the dud that it is being made out to be. Titus Welliver is not Len Cariou or even Dick Hill but he is good if you will get over your disappointment you will see that his has the right qualities in his voice. and while not being flexible in the range of voices he makes it seem less like a actor-less play and more like Harry Bosch it telling you a story. As for the story its self Michael Connelly has written much better. This is more like the Det. Chu forward books where this always a conspiracy not just a deeply personally motivated murder. So Yes Connelly has become predictable, as soon a former mayor looking to a gubernatorial race was introduced we all could have moved forward to last chapter and seen your assumptions proven. However, lets look at this as more of an opportunity to get to know a new partner who I feel is going to become a new character in the Michael Connelly universe because Bosch has to go soon. In the Words of Richard Castle "Writing [Bosch] has become more like work" and no one wants to read trash from a "Working Author". So read the book enjoy the journey and get to ready to enjoy the feisty Lucy Soto she will be great.
