Historia
The bestselling fitness book for men who want to gain 25-35 pounds of lean muscle and lose as much fat or more in just 3-5 hours per week—and without giving up delicious foods or doing grueling workouts. Is Bigger Leaner Stronger a body building book that can help you pack on brain-shrinking amounts of muscle in 30 days flat? No. Is it a fitness nutrition book full of dubious diet and exercise “hacks” and “shortcuts” for melting belly fat faster than a roided hornet? Absolutely not.

Not pretty but it is solid and well reseached.
Revisado: 07-23-22
This book has a lot of solid information, and some great bonus material. It starts with a lot of endorsement and promotion; if you can get through that. You will find a wealth of no nonsense knowledge, that will give you a solid foundation to work from.
This audio book is a bit hard to listen to. Micheal read it in a very slow and precise voice, which ensures it is understood; though it does make it a bit less personable.
If you listen all the way through, follow the advice given, and implement the plans, tools and techniques that are provided, you will succeed in your journey.

Historia
This, the first in the splendid series of Jack Aubrey novels, establishes the friendship between Captain Aubrey, Royal Navy, and Stephen Maturin, ship's surgeon and intelligence agent, against the thrilling backdrop of the Napoleonic wars. Details of life aboard a man-of-war in Nelson's navy are faultlessly rendered: the conversational idiom of the officers in the ward room and the men on the lower deck, the food, the floggings, the mysteries of the wind and the rigging, and the road of broadsides as the great ships close in battle.

Narrator change has ruined the experience for me
Revisado: 04-12-21
I listened to most of the Aubrey Maturin series, as read by Simon Vance. I wanted to start over at the beginning so I purchased it again through audible, only to find that you have changed narrators.
Patrick Tulls reading has no life to it. All of the characters have the same voice and the cadence is all wrong. I have tried several time's but I just can't get through it.

character's don't fit
Revisado: 03-23-20
the characters in this novel don't feel genuine. new characters seem too over the top and ill concieved and characters from previous novels seem to have gone through a personality change.

terrible Narration
Revisado: 02-07-20
The story is fine. However the narrator has destroyed a good thing. he obviously didn't listen to previous books in the audio series as he mispronounces several of the names. He also makes the main character sound like a pompous ass and paints all women as simple minded.
I found myself searching for a different audio version of this book and am for the first time i am considering just reading the synopsis and moving on.
