Historia
When Brian Holloway (Jack Quaid, The Boys) was hired by famous horror author Paul Robinette (Titus Welliver, Bosch) to crack an antique safe in his home, he had no idea what he was about to encounter. Opening that safe door unleashed something sinister — something that continues to haunt him. But what exactly? And can whatever slipped through that threshold be stopped?

Couldn’t Stop Listening
Revisado: 06-20-24
I wish all audio books could be performed with this level of excellence. The story and performance were spot on. Felt like I was watching a movie instead of listening to an audio book. Storyline kept me in a chokehold all the way through. Definitely recommend!

Excellent Read in an era of political hopelessness
Revisado: 07-31-22
I really enjoyed listening to this book and getting to hear Michelle‘s perspective. Not surprisingly she articulately captures so much of what we continue to see in today’s politics but ends on a note of optimism based on her experience and what She has seen throughout her husband’s presidency. I think it’s a good must read for everyone who may be feeling hopeless in today’s era of politics I enjoyed listening to her perspective and definitely recommend

The Ending is So Good. Hooked!
Revisado: 10-11-20
I got this on a random search through investigation crime genres and the narrator makes this story really come to life. It read like a movie. The author’s description of the characters, dialogue, and story all on point. I don’t know if there’s any relation to that Matthew Mcconaughey movie called The Lincoln Lawyer, but after this I’m sure gonna find out. I will be looking for more by both narrator and author. 5 stars!

Poetic & And an Electricity About It
Revisado: 08-02-20
I didn’t take it as deep as many of the other reviewers. I liked the production. It was very well done. I thought the two actors/narrators did an amazing job. If you’ve ever seen a live stage play, the energy of this book kind of flowed like that. Lines delivered in a sort of spoken word type of poetry that then flows into a dialogue then into an internal narrative with an artistic literary style. It’s Sci-Fi I guess, but I kind of felt like the tween book The Host by Stephanie Meyer was like the same kind of genre wherein it’s in the future, so I guess that’s what qualifies it as science fiction. I don’t know. But, overall found this listen to be electric (chemistry and flow of actors) intriguing, and poetic. Try it, what’ve you got to lose? I’ve wasted an hour on worst things.

New to Dating Or Starting Over??
Revisado: 12-21-19
I thought that this book is would be best for someone who is newly dating, getting into that age where they will start, or someone starting over after not very much success in the dating world. I’ve been a Christian for 7 years and single same amount of time. I’m about 40yrs old. I think there is truth to author’s suggestion at the end. But, I had already been doing these things and practicing a life devoted to Christ because I did the work author discussed, which naturally comes from experience of close relationship with God and connected with church and ministry. I think there are some really good nuggets here that can save those not aware of these issues a lot of pain and heart break. Book was easy to listen to and a good length. Again, I would recommend to someone young or just beginning to think about being in relationship.

You Can Effect Change in Your Life!
Revisado: 03-08-19
I really enjoyed listening to this book and appreciate how brutally honest the author is about her own personal struggles and achievements. I love that it’s from a Christian perspective and aligns with God’s word about who we are and breaking the lies about the world defining our value and labeling us by our failures and struggles. The most powerful takeaway for me is that I can effect the type of change I want to achieve in my life. I’m inspired and encouraged by this book. Great book and can’t wait to read the next one!

Slow and Just Plain Boring
Revisado: 04-17-18
I tried to give this a chance because of the good reviews, but after a few minutes I zoned out. It takes author forever to get to the main plot or any point. I felt like every obvious thought or action made by characters in the book were unnecessarily descriptive. I returned it for something a bit more fast paced. The narrator was good, it was just the writing that was uninteresting.

Perfect Devotional While Driving to Work. Loved It
Revisado: 01-25-18
Loved how simple and honest Chip is as he passionately shares how much we are loved and how much God desires intimacy with us. Every topic discussed is so relevant and applicable in our daily lives. There is lots of great take a ways for the new Christian and old. I loved listening. I greatly recommend this book.

Surprisingly Interesting!
Revisado: 12-14-17
Really enjoyed listening. I wouldn't mind buying the book, too. Each day uses a relevant topic and I liked the prayers at the end of each. As a newer Christian it really helped me understand how to seek intimacy with God. I listened in car on way home from work. I would feel so inspired to pursue more time with God or read scripture reference and even used the prayers to further my own prayers to God. Would definitely recommend to any one new in Christ or anyone seeking intimacy with God in their personal faith journey.
