Historia
Elizabeth Emens was a working mother with two young children, swamped like so many of us, when she realized that this invisible labor was consuming her. Desperate to survive and to help others along the way, she conducted interviews and focus groups to gather favorite tips and tricks, admin confessions, and the secrets of admin-happy households.

This book claims to be about “Life Admin” and provide useful insights on that topic. However, it focuses more on bashing men than suggesting improved administrative workflow methods.

Historia
The Tao of Fully Feeling teaches us to respond to our painful and potentially disruptive feelings in healthy ways. It illustrates the enriching aspects of the so-called negative emotions and helps us achieve the emotional flexibility whereby sadness easily mellows into solace, anger unfolds into laughter, fear evolves into excitement, jealousy opens up into appreciation, and blame gives way to forgiveness.

The author clearly despises western culture.
Revisado: 02-01-24
The book is a series of inaccurate, derogatory comparisons between western culture and philosophy and eastern views. It neglects many western writers and thinkers - both modern and ancient - in the comparison, and seems to be more of an attack on western culture than the insightful look into emotions that I had hoped for when I purchased it.
