Don’t understand the hype this book has received

The Wedding Date is definitely a book I will listen to again. This one I won’t bother. The writing is technically very good, but the story is boring. Also, i find the whole female empowerment undercurrent a little gaggy. And I want to remind everyone, if you punch someone because you are aggravated with them, that is assault, and you should be arrested. It is not cute, it is not empowering. I don’t care what gender you are.
