too complex weary of all the corruption

Why does every book have to have enemies with so much power and why does he have to be betrayed by close friends in every other book? seriously. it's getting old. and the narrator, while competent, cannot distinguish the voices of the characters so sometimes I had to go back and figure out who'd said what. the book is ok. I've loved the series. but it's getting old and losing something

Lovely book

Miranda Hart finds humor in every situaltion, including havung chronic illness. She doesn't 'read' her book, she tells her story and connects with the listener on every page, calling us My Dear Listener Chum. I learned a lot from this book and laughed many times.

This is the funniest of the series so far, not on every page but there are moments and Kate Reading's comedic ti.ing is spot on, as are are voices. I love this series.

Another excellent Perveen mystery

The first woman solicitor in India, who has been treated unjustly by her culture, represents women who have also been treated unjustly. So much heartbreak, so many levels of the fight for justice. I love these books

Lovely little book that inspired me to drive to the local garden center and buy seedlings for my garden. It's about hobbits, who love gardens and anything that grows and it encourages the listener to cultivate their life in community and to grow.
