What an amazing story. I knew he wasn't well, but that this was the story og his life and struggles I would have never guessed.

Narrator sounded like computer reading to you.. No actual tools or methods to handle binging - except for meditation and hypnosis... Repeating the same thing over and over again while arguing that bingers can't restrict themselves and simultaneously recommending restrictions - well... doesn't make much sense to me..

My childhood favourite

Sometimes, there's nothing like revisiting an all time childhood favourite, such as this one. The first words by the narrator are always critical - does the narration live up to the excellent childhood memory? My first encounter with this store, was the Danish translation as an audio book. I listened on old cassette tapes several times spending hours listening to the stories about Howl, Sophie - and of course - Calcifer. I'd forgotten the book untill recently, when I came across my paper copy during a tidy up. Immediately went to Audible to look for an audio edition of the book. Previously, it had been unavaiable to me for country restrictions, so great was the happiness when I discovered that I could now revisit some of the most cherished imagination memories. If you haven't read or listened to this story yet, I highly recommend it - the very special story and charactors will grow on you and you won't be able to forget them, once the story is over. I, for once, keep looking for Calcifer whenever and wherever there is a fire - because who knows - there might just be a firedemon residing in the flames. Enjoy.

Nice story, horrible narrator

This story is actually quite good. Interesting characters and a good plot along the way. Unfortunately the narrator makes both characters sound incredibly stupid which was not recognizable to the story at all. The female is quite bright.. Until she speaks and then she appears as blank as the blank side of alu foild despite being quite gifted.. Same with the male.. I'll continue this series but I'll turn to the books..

I love it when..

The characters have depth going beyond abs, curves, boobs and legs like....you get the idea! This story is a HEA but along the way, unexpected turns were taken. Love conquers (spelled?) all in the end, but if one thing could be changed: the ending came way too soon. The authors indeed do a very good job and this is neither the first nor the last I will listen to, from their hands.

Insane!! In a very, VERY good way!

Got this author recommended, so chose a rather random pick. The first part of the book didn't really catch me, but then the story took an unexpected turn and I listened closely to the remaining. Then realised I needed the beginning and was caught till the very end. This is romance, crime, murder and a plot twist I for sure did not see coming! Very well written that's for sure!

Great series with quite a surprising plot!

You get to know the two characters pretty well from the beginning and as always with this author duo, the story works very well. Hidden references to the other books from the series, but does it subtly. The humor is especially good in this one and it's the second time I've listened to it and am still laughing out loud.

I love a good, whole story - this one has it..

Following the two main characters as they each go through both growth and transformation in this almost 13 hour long book was a true pleasure from one end to another. Both the female and the Male characters are going both everyday but also life changing dilemmas as the story progresses and it certainly leaves one breathless at some points. I laughed, sighed, swore, cursed, got angry and finally relieved on behalf of the two characters. The story elegantly takes you through interesting issues, some bigger than others but all equally relevant and some with unexpective motives and thoughts behind them. Written by a truly talented author, who takes the whole romance novel up notch, especially if you are a little interested in the psychology behind thoughts, patterns and motives. I bought this one since it was recommended by Audible Escape but not part of the package - I did not regret it even a tiny bit and I will definitely listen to this one several times.

Emotional rollercoaster!!

What to some may seem so obvious may be so difficult for others. The characters in this story are all brought to life by the narrators who are doing a very good job. The presented dilemmas are relevant and nothing impossible or not realistic happens. Sometimes it's the smallest things keeping you from your biggest achievements. This book served as a good reminder of that. Take home message: never underestimate the power of good and honest communication. What you think might be the reason may not be right at all. Not even close.

Extensive knowledge, good learning base

This book - and pdf (which can be found e.g. at the overview of purchased items on the audible website via the pc) contains a great lot of knowledge presented in a very nice way. The pdf is well structured and presents the content very nicely! It's a large file of more than 300 pages and whenever I'm in doubt, I turn to the file and search. Very helpfull.
