I absolutely adore the way Leanna just crashes into Kurt's methodical life and turns it all upside down! They balance each other out in such a beautiful way, with Leanna getting Kurt to be more spontaneous and live more and Kurt getting Leanna to be more focused and their love is just so beautiful. I loved hearing this story and recommend it.

Your heart will race!

I love how hard Briana makes Hugh work to win her over. Hugh wins Layla over pretty fast, but I think she ultimately gets him wrapped around her finger very quickly. He is pretty swoon worthy, after all. I absolutely love listening to this while I work. It helps me focus on getting my work done faster but also keeps me sane and happy. I love the quality of the audiobook and highly recommend it for roadtrips or trips to the gym as well!

Emotion overload

Jack is the very definition of closed off and is just suffering and punishing himself for things that happened, but even he can't help himself when he meets Savannah Braden. Savannah is just like the breath of fresh air that he didn't know he needed, that is the antidote to what ails him. I absolutely adore this story. The range of emotions that these two go through, and the way Melissa Foster writes it, you actually feel the emotions with them.

Sinful and Dangerous...

Dane Braden has a love of sharks, and has a need to show how much we have to learn about them. Lacy Snow has a fear of sharks due to past experience but Dane and Lacy have a romantic friendship and 15 months of flirting and passion sitting right under the surface, ready to boil over. I love this story and the back and forth about fear, from both sides, because it is not just her fear that holds them back. Really recommend this to everyone who likes some good romance!

Friends to Lovers

Oh man, I love Riley and Josh's story. Friendship is such a strong foundation to build love upon and these two are the perfect example of it. The love, humor, and just awe moments are wonderful in this story and I love the ability to listen to the story as I do my daily work and homework. Believe it or not, it makes anything more entertaining when you get to hear a Melissa Foster love story.

Love Story with a Twist

I love Rex and Jade. They have so much passion and heat and there is so much angst in all the things that should keep/tear them apart but they can't keep away from each other. I loved listening to this while I was working, at the gym, and doing homework to keep my mind happy and swooning while I was doing intense work, both physical and mental.

Not just an easy love story

Would you listen to Lovers at Heart again? Why?

I loved Lovers at Heart. Max and Treat are both so independent that it is a battle to see who will drop their guard first (and most) to let the other in. The amount of heart and emotion (and chemistry and heat) that they have is insane! I would definitely listen to this again - in fact I started listening to this at the gym and my 30 minute workouts soon became 1 hour workouts because I had to listen for 5 more minutes, over and over again.

What other book might you compare Lovers at Heart to and why?

I don't like doing comparisons. Melissa Foster is amazing and each book should be individually appreciated.

What does B. J. Harrison bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Just the character nuances that each one has.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I love this book. I laughed, cried, cursed when they were being dumb, and smiled.

Love Story to the Max

What did you love best about Sisters in White?

I love the fact that it is full of love, laughter, chaos, and family (though not all blood). Melissa Foster has a way of writing a story and B.J. Harrison narrates the story wonderfully, with inflections and just keeps the listener enthralled.

What did you like best about this story?

I love that it's not perfect. So many stories are just perfect and that is not realistic. This book has the perfect balance of romantic, family drama, humor, and utter chaos. It keeps the listener entertained and wanting to listen for 5 more minutes, which turns into 30 minutes, or an hour longer.

What about B.J. Harrison’s performance did you like?

His inflections and the way he changes his tone for different characters makes the story so much better for me. I love it!

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I laughed and cried many times throughout the book, more laughter than tears.

Wonderful Love Story

I love Melissa Foster and rate this audiobook at the top of the audiobooks, along with her other books I have listened to via audio.

Which scene was your favorite?

I love that this isn't the perfect story, that there are problems that they have to figure out and resolve, but when you add in the pregnancy hormones, it makes for an entertaining read.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Parts made me laugh and others made me want to cry. I think that is the wonderful part about Melissa Foster's writing.

Sweet romance

Would you listen to Sisters in Love again? Why?

I would listen to Sisters in Love again. The narrator has a great reading voice and the author is one of my favorites. I love the story and feel like I could get lost in this book over and over again.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Danica is by far my favorite because she's so like me. There are rules and boundaries and you are supposed to stay between the lines and then there are these people who are almost like magnets that just draw you to them and make you question or forget things/mannerisms you've followed your whole life!

Which character – as performed by B.J. Harrison – was your favorite?

Blake. He makes him sound so fun and rakish and just so yummy!!!

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I think when the walls start breaking down and they start being more open and honest with each other.

Any additional comments?

I love this author and the fact that I was able to listen to the audiobook while doing my (boring) data entry work and schoolwork helped keep me entertained. I love the storyline and just can't wait to check out more of Melissa Foster's work.
