Absolutely wonderful. Of my over 600 audiobooks, this is now 1 of my 2 favorites.
It’s not the sexy parts. It’s the parts of what you do for love. If this were a movie, it’ll become an instant classic.
So dear reader … make sure to get this one. I couldn’t stop listening. In fact am back at some chapters as I write this.

I just LOVE the way it's been written and narrated (dare say performed). The story pulls you in and makes you happy to be in it. I cannot say which part I really liked. BUT I know it is NOT dragging. Some authors beat down an idea too much you just have to return the book. This is a keeper. I just know I will listen to this story several times in the years to come.

I cannot stop listening to the story. Such an excellent combination of writing and narration. I don't really write reviews. Only if I LOVE it so. Or if I really am so unhappy. Catch is we really just return the books we don't like. But this one is indeed a keeper. Love it !!

Must listen to this. It is so great. I already listened to it 2x.
I've done other books. It gets predictable. This one is not so.
Hope we can expect more audiobooks from Lily Morton.
I checked Amazon. She has loads more books. I cannot wait for them to be in audio form.
I love the narrator too. Really helped bring more life to the story.

This was recorded long ago. Such a terrible listen. It took great effort. I really suggest that this be re-done. I cannot recommend it. My wife and I loved this book from long ago. It's sad to hear it this way.

Can reading be re-done?

Such a terrible listen for a great book. No pauses so your mind can shift scenes, etc. Maybe because this was recorded long ago. But it doesn't give the book justice. Hope this can be re-done.
