A great ending (?) to a fun series

These stories and characters never cease to engage but the new narrator is awful. The voice changes to portray the characters are lame and unconvincing.

Books are out of order.

Books 2 and 3 are out of order. Otherwise they’re as wonderful as the rest of the series.

Shallow story line

It appears that the author was given a (small) page length quantity which limited her ability to add depth and detail to the character development and story line. Missing links to the solution of the crime and gratuitous references to church and God made this series one of the most unsatisfying, fluffiest series in the cozy genre. It was impossible to connect with, let alone engage with or care about, the main character. Luckily it only cost one credit and I only wasted my time with three of the stories.

Authors Shouldn’t Narrate

The author should not have been allowed to narrate this book. She reads too fast without expressing the emotion of the characters.

Entertaining

Between the amazing narration, the humor that creeps in and the plot, I was throughly entertained. I usually listen to books when I’m outside throwing the ball for the dogs or gardening but I found myself listening instead of watching television. Highly recommend!

Talks too fast

While this might be interesting and informative, the hyper-fast speech is off-putting and uncomfortable. My anxiety level increased tenfold.
