Historia
Behind a smokescreen of “preparing students for the new industrial economy,” early progressives had political control in mind. America’s original schools didn’t just make kids memorize facts or learn skills; they taught them to think freely and arrive at wisdom. They assigned the classics, inspired love of God and country, and raised future citizens that changed the world forever.

Every parent needs to read this book.
Revisado: 11-11-23
This was by far the most honest, and informative book I’ve ever read. I feel far more prepared to parent like a tiger!!!

Historia
Logan Lawson won me in a bet. The second I saw him sitting at the illegal card table, I knew I was in trouble. Years ago, he sealed my fate and condemned me to a life I didn’t want to lead. Yet he’s filled with untamed fury and thirsting for vengeance against the husband I hate. I want nothing more than to be free of my husband. I’m afraid Logan Lawson is the only one who can make that happen. He might hate me for our past, but now it’s me on my knees begging for help. Finding each other in the middle of it wasn’t supposed to be part of the bargain.

There is no”ah” after every sentence.
Revisado: 10-09-22
Erin Malin sounds like a middle school girl when she talks. She’s trying to be sexy but she throws in that “ah” after every sentence. It’s annoying, and as soon as I heard her voice I remembered another book I started to read, but because her voice drove me so crazy I quit. Now I wish I quit earlier in this book.

The push and the pull.
Revisado: 04-13-21
I’ve read about 63 books by a lot of romantic writers and this is by far my favorite story. In fact this is my fourth time listening to it. I was surprised and shocked by the twist interns, and so intrigued with all the little side stories.

Historia
Fine, fine. Sharing an apartment with my buddy's smoking-hot and incredibly amazing little sister seems like a recipe for disaster. But I desperately need a place close to work, and I swear I’ll behave. How hard can it be to share 500 square feet with the brilliant, beautiful total firecracker who’s my good friend too? Please. It’s sooo easy to hang out with Josie every night, to test out her new brownie recipes after work, to shop for towels and banana hangers on weekends. Until one night when she asks if she can join me under the covers. Platonically, of course.

Just naughty enough to keep me listening
Revisado: 05-30-19
Initially was very dissatisfied when I found the story ended in the middle. I had no idea I was reading book one of two. I quickly got over that. I absolutely love baseball, so my interest was on high alert, and it stayed that way throughout the entire book. So far after 12 books, this is my favorite. Really enjoyed every single chapter. Highly recommend this book!

I’m not sure why Audible can’t be honest with their consumers. I don’t want to read half of a book and then wait months later to read the other half. What happens is I have to re-listen to the whole story again which does not make me happy. Why don’t you just say this is book one of two, or book one of three, or whatever it is. Try some honesty here. I’m not a fan of cliffhangers, especially when you have to wait so long for the other book. I pay a monthly fee for this? BS!

Wrong medical descriptions.
Revisado: 04-08-19
I think it would be great if AL Jackson consulted with a medical professional. As a 33 year paramedic, I couldn’t help but notice that when Evan collapsed and the paramedics arrived. He was apneic and pulseless. Which means he had no pulse and he was not breathing. You would never put an oxygen mask over somebody who wasn’t breathing. That person would need to be intubated, and then bagged by a Ambu bag. Just a suggestion. Loved the book, and the sweetness of the story!!!
