Historia
In "Confronting Chaos: The Civility Crisis," Nelson dives deep into the heart of America's current societal turmoil, pinpointing the root cause: the erosion of civility. With a blend of insight, compassion, and urgency, Nelson navigates listeners through the complexities of this crisis, offering both analysis and solutions. Drawing upon historical perspectives and contemporary examples, "Confronting Chaos" illuminates how the abandonment of traditional values, particularly those rooted in Christian principles, has led to a breakdown in respectful discourse and behavior.

This book is a great read for those who truly seek to be able to live civilly in a chaotic world. It helped me personally to reflect on areas where I can improve in my interactions with people—especially those I disagree with.

Simply incredible. It is so refreshing to see an emerging author who speaks the truth unashamedly, but also with respect.

Historia
The church of the living God is a wonderful force in our world today. Even though people and religious groups have flaws, God still works perfectly despite our weaknesses, imperfections, and mistakes, all for His glory. This book talks about various overlooked problems that are present but often unnoticed. The author aims to encourage thoughtful reflection, prayer, and open conversations about these issues. The book will make you think differently about depression and many behaviors related to how we interact with others, both inside and outside the Christian community.

Great Read

I enjoyed it thoroughly. Especially comforting to see a pastor dealing with difficult issues like depression. Not everything is a demonic spirit. Not everything can be prayed away at the snap of a finger.

The Book the Church Needs to Read
Revisado: 03-05-24
I really enjoyed Grimmett approach as he challenged several ideologies by which individuals--both in and out of "the church"--find themselves stuck in life. From traditions to societal constructs, Grimmett fired on all cylinders, as he pulled back the covers on issues and provided factual, insightful, and constructive critiques to life challenges that have us "stuck."
I will listen to this book more than once. It was one of my best-spent Audible credits!
