Historia
Joel may be the earliest of the writing prophets; if he is, then he introduces the term “the Day of the Lord” as a reference to a set of final, catastrophic events that will befall Israel—and indeed all humanity in the “end times.” Illustrating his message with reference to a dreadful locust plague that occurred in the past, we shudder as God makes clear that if Israel does not repent something much greater than a locust plague will occur.

Historia
The Old Testament - written in ancient Israel by many different authors over the course of a thousand years - has had more meaning to more people than any other book the world has known. In a series of 24 lively lectures, Professor Levine explores selected passages from the texts known as the Old Testament, the Hebrew Bible, and the Tanakh, revealing how fresh research and findings from scholars of archaeology, cross-cultural studies, and comparative religion can deepen your understanding.

Absolutely the worst audio book of the Old Testament.
She does have an agenda like others of said but I think her agenda was not to teach but to hear herself talk.
For those who want a better audio of the Old Testament I recommend Dr. Bill Creasy any of his Old Testament audiobooks a im depth understandable and highly thought out he remains true to the Old Testament.

Historia
As we know from our own experience: bad things often happen to good people, even when they are fully aligned with God. So what gives? Job explores this paradox, calling into question the fundamental lessons we learn in the first 700 pages of Scripture. Each book after Esther in the Christian canon of the Hebrew Scriptures is a recapitulation into the main narrative. Job takes us back to the start, to the time of Abraham, and it raises serious questions.

Job
Revisado: 08-30-19
It was a good audible book. But he doesn’t get in length with it as he does previous Bible Books. But the one thing I noticed is it was hard pressed to get any teacher delving into Job. The book offers a lot. One of the main themes people go through today why bad things happen to good people. Creasy answer the question better than most. But there was a lot to be discussed or taught in the rest Job covering 42 chapters. So I gave Dr Creasy a 5 because like always, in my opinion covers the book better than the authors I listened to previously.

Historia
Acts follows the Church from its birth in Jerusalem through its exponential growth and inevitable persecution, led by Saul of Tarsus. Incredibly, Saul later confronts the risen and glorified Christ on the road to Damascus, where he becomes a believer. And not just any old believer! Saul becomes Paul, the great Apostle to the Gentiles. From Chapter 9 onward, Acts follows Paul on his three missionary journeys as he takes the Gospel into Asia Minor and Europe.

Historia
As the Davidic psalms take us inside the heart of David, so do Proverbs, Ecclesiastes and Song of Songs take us inside the heart of Solomon. In 1 Kings 4: 32 we read that Solomon “spoke three thousand proverbs.” In the book of Proverbs we have 375 of them. In the classical genre of “advice to a son” literature, Proverbs offers sound advice for a young person going out into the world for the first time.

The book(parts 1and 2) does its purpose in the listener getting to know Solomon better. Bill Creasy does an excellent job, as always, making interesting and his ability to keep your attention is just as excellent. I would recommend this audio book for those seeking more knowledge on King Solomon.

Historia
Exodus and Leviticus span a period of 13 months in the biblical narrative; Numbers covers the remaining 39 years of the Exodus. In Numbers, Moses counts the people and organizes them by tribe, clan and family, completing a journey that spans a generation. Far from tracking aimless wanderings in the wilderness, Numbers tells the incredible story of survival against all odds, as God grooms a new generation to invade and conquer the Promised Land.

A really reflective, interesting and likable teacher. I would recommend him to anyone who wants to know more about the Bible. He keeps your attention.
The only problem is at times he had a hair done time recalling references but he eventually got there. There somewhere in the last couple of Chapters where his reference wasn't right I was hoping he would find it but never did. But his references always made a bigger undstandable on his point so it was just one. Still a disappointment.
However it won't stop me from listening to the rest of his Biblical lectures their that good.

I read Gene Simmons Kiss and make up several years when it first came out. By the end if I were to look up narcissist in the dictionary would be his face. A lot of the facts that were already known about Gene was already known, its all about him. In Paul's book it was all about him, with a very decent approach. Paul makes himself human and it was a very insightful interesting book. Once I started listening to it it was very hard to put down. He does have many negative views but in the end he had a lot walls built into bridges. He of all people you wouldn't expect to have an inferiority complex but in the end, again, he made a lot of progress. Great book!

This was a great book was hilarious and very interesting. If it was all true it is definitely a book that had a lot of RNR history I never heard before. I will read again, and I hardly say that about any book.
